But athletes can profit off there game and they can now sell and sign autographs to get money as a law. Forever 21 is closing doors in the u.s and filed for bank rupcey. they want to cut cost and debt to reduce bank rupcey. but their letting people still show online.

  3. NCAA make more than a billion dollars a year and are giving student athletes a chance to be able to get paid for having made their own jerseys and making their name spread worldwide. So college students are able to get paid for playing sports from NCAA.

They were talking about college athletes and things they can and cant do to make money. the feel that they should have a clear and leveled plainfield. forever 21 is filing for bankruptcy. They wont be shutting down but they will be closing about 8200 stores. people shop more online than in the store which is causing them to lose money. the original name was fashion 21.

  6. NCAA is a school that is meant for college athletes, and it is being a bit unfair to the college students that is attending it. California Just passed a law so that the athletes can get paid. Forever would be closing its doors, in which the company would be going down. Forever 21 filed bankruptcy, but that's only because the company wants to work on themselves, to become better.

I really like forever 21 it has clothes for everyone that wants to look 21. A 9 year old kid was supposed to go on a 5k race but accidentally went on the 10k race for adults. Surprisingly he won the race. That is incredible for a 9 year old to do

  10. The new fair pay law seems really good for college football players as it gives them a good source of income without them having to work a job that could distract them from practicing. I hope that this law in California could help out a lot of athletes out there that are really good players but need a reliable source of money. I give props to the kid that ended up running the longer 10k race then the 5k race. Although it was unintentionally he got first place medal which is really good and this will probably be a moment her remembers.

This law would change some rules that the NCAA has such as athletes selling their autographs and earning money from their YouTube channels. The NCAA has a committee dedicated towards this issue but people feel that soon they will have to come up with a national solution. Forever 21 is closing over 350 stores and have filed for bankruptcy. Last year they made 4.4 billion in revenue, through bankruptcy they are trying to reorganize themselves.

The NCAA agree that changes need to be made to support college athletes, but they think this is the wrong way.

    Forever 21 has filled for bankruptcy, due to the amount of physical shops they own. Stats say that more people shop online, which makes the physical harder to open. Forever 21 says it is going to start changing the way the put themselves out there.

A debate has been going on whether college student athletes should profit off their name by selling the jerseys and sign endorsement deals and make money off their name but if athletes do profit off their name the law will blur the line between pro-sports which pay and amateur sports which don`t.Forever is now closing 350 stores and has filed for bankruptcy but people can still shop in the stores or even shop online. Now that online shopping is becoming major there physical stores are strained and they are going to have to clean and start over.

A lot of stores are closing and won't open back up until everything is financially straight. Also NCAA in California are talking about ways for college athletes to make money. Meaning some can make money off of their jersey's and other can sign different endorsement deal to get money.

Hopefully they will be able to lower their prices to make them more affordable for people. A nine year was running a 5k but accidentally ended up doing a 10k run and winning the race. I applaud him for never stopping .

This makes me want to become a student athlete, but there is a lot of legal issues with this and some other states have a problem with it because it would be unfair for California to have an advantage that big. They also talked about how Forever 21 is shutting down some of it's stores. They are currently filing for bankruptcy and they're shutting down stores to get back to making profit. I hope they don't shut down the stores closest to me because Forever 21 is one of the stores I always go in when I go to the mall.

I mean i think its a pretty good idea because they get an offer to go to this college but there is nothing in it besides the school and sports like i don't feel like thats fair but okay. This nine year old boy was supposed to be running 5k race but someone told him to go the wrong way and he got in the 10k race and ended up winning. That is so good for him i feel like it was a good accomplishment and good practice cause he could probably run more then he thinks.

  53. Today's segment included the passing of the new California bill that says college athletes can get paid for their image. Athletes continue to make schools more and more popular but do not receive any contributions credit. I definitely agree with this bill and I think it should be enrolled everywhere. The second segment was on the thought process for name branding company products. It was very creative and took a lot of imagination.

As a result, the NCAA will ban California schools from competing in post-season activities, like the playoffs for college football, unless other states follow suit. I think the good outweighed the bad in this scenario. Another topic today was about Forever 21 closing several physical locations. This is as a result of online shopping becoming more and more prominent.

The NCAA is the organization over all college sports and was previously not allowing college players to be payed or gifted to bribe players to play for their school but, California is making history, starting in 2023 players at California schools will be available to get payed. Forever 21 is going out of business,I recently went back to school shopping their but they have already closed down 33% of their stores in the US and is filing for bankruptcy.
