ReplyDeleteBahamas is getting help after Hurricane Dorian. Hurricane Dorian has left thousands of people either injured or homeless,and 50 dead. People are helping the Bahamas out by helping them out with food, shelter and clothing. I hope that Bahamas stays strong and can recover from this in no time.

ReplyDeleteThe moon's orbit is elliptical around the earth. Today there will be a full harvest micro moon. This hasn't happened since 1832. The full moon in April is called the pink moon, although it does not appear pink. Najah Bazzy is a CNN Hero for her organization in Detroit. They provide food, clothing, and shelter for those in need, especially women with children in poverty.

ReplyDeleteAt least 50 people were killed in the Bahamas, and that number is expected to rise and officials investigate the islands. 70,000 people were left homeless, and the US and British government are help out with everything can(food, supplies, shelters, etc.) Tonight is a full moon and it will be one of the rarest of moons because it will look smaller than usual.
ReplyDeleteOne news highlight was about the full moon will be small and a harvest moon. I think it is cool and if won't happen again till a few thousand years. Another highlight was about a space station cruise ship, and how the people who build it want it running by 2027. It's a cool idea.
ReplyDeleteTo begin with, The Bahamian government is recovering from Hurricane Dorian's attack. During the Hurricane Dorian attack, it left over 70,000 people homeless. and many people died. Also, The British government is also helping out the bahamas by helping them create recovering homes after the damage has been dealt.

ReplyDeleteAbaco and Grand Bahama there were 50 people claimed to be dead and the number of people who are missing is 1300. I hope they find the missing people and when they find them that it isn't to late. In Detroit, Michigan Najah Bazzy is giving away food, clothes, and shelter for the people who need it. I think that this is amazing that she are doing this for others.

He contribution to those in absolute poverty is beyond desirable. Her willingly helping out those people for non-profit shows a true, pure heart.

ReplyDeleteThere will be a full moon today and it makes it a harvest moon but it will appear farther away because it's not near earth. The last moon was in 1832 and the next one wont be until 2543. There is a nurse called Najah Bozzy who has decided to work for a store where they provide food, water, and shelter for people in need of it and they get food every 30 days brought in so family's can eat.

I think that's great that they're trying to help them. they also said that there is gonna be a full moon on today, Friday the 13th. That's so cool I like seeing full moons.
ReplyDeleteThe Bahamian government is trying to set up housing for everybody there. I hope that their recovery process from the hurricane is fast. The U.S coastguard is helping people with housing as well and they are providing resources. I think it’s very sweet of them to help out. ReplyDeleteToday it is Friday the 13th and the moon is smaller than usual. I honestly see this as a moment to be thankful that I am alive. The government is doing the best they can to help Dorian survivors, I think this is the best they can do and should continue.
