ReplyDeleteSaudi Arabia’s biggest oil camp was attacked, causing for half of the countries production to be postponed. This caused for prices of oil to rise, to account for the lack of available oil. The perpetrators aren’t known yet. I’m not effected by the rise in oil prices, but I know that the entire world is being impacted by the rise in oil prices. Another topic today was about researchers studying the living and matting patterns of sharks. Their goal is to have enough information of shark patterns to better protect the species from hunters. I hope that they find a resolution to shark hunting soon, so that the species won’t go extinct.

And humans are the sharks biggest threats as there were 10 deaths from shark attacks a lot of food has been messed up for the sharks as the food chain for animals were messed up.

Barrels that usually go for $60 went for $72. We lose 200,000 sharks a day for shark fin soup, 100 million in a year. If the sharks go extinct it might collapse the seas food chain.

Also the USA has the largest emergency oil reserve called SPR. I find it very beneficial that we have one of these because I know we will need it some time.

The economies of Europe and developing countries were weakening, and at the same time, vehicles were becoming more efficient, which caused the demand for fuel to lag. China's devaluation of its own currency suggested that its economy may be worse off than expected. With China being the world's largest oil importer, that was a huge hit to global demand and caused a negative reaction in crude oil.

Saudia Arabia is the country that more produce oil in te world and half of their oild was disrupted last saturday. Because of it , the oil price has increase everywhere. ReplyDeleteOne news highlight was about how the attack against Saudi Arabia caused oil prices to skyrocketed, and how prices came back down. that good because buying gas could be around 4 or 5 dollars. Another news highlight is about how some people are trying to save sharks. I'm glad they are trying because if they wasn't sharks could go extinct and the ocean food chain would collapse.
ReplyDeleteThe US has a huge oil reserve, I never knew that. But I think that it is very important. Baby sharks are born alone and how they grow, and breed is unknown. I find the underwater world beautiful, however, I feel like it's so big that there are many unknown places that exist.

People don’t know much about sharks lives but without them the whole food chain will collapse. It’s weird that sharks are so dangerous but they help us out so much if you think about it.

ReplyDeletePersonally I don't like sharks but I feel like sharks are maybe dying for no reason, just for people to eat shark soup.There is not enough seats in the Israel government so, they have decided to create a coalition government.They`re employees of General Motors; makers of Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC. The union wants GM to change its plans to close four plants in the days ahead. It`s also pushing for better pay, benefits, job security, and for GM to share more profits with employees.I find it very beneficial that we have one of these because I know we will need it some time.

The reason that the oil prices surged is because they are make the most oil in the world. Officials say that Iran is a suspect, but they are denying that they had anything to do with this. I hope that they can recover from this attack since Saudi Arabia produces most of the oil for the world, because if they don't then it would affect the world.

Also today they said you should be more afraid of your toaster than sharks because people are getting these broken toaster and when they plug them in there are getting electrocuted and are dying. ReplyDeleteSaudi Arabia having one of the highest oil production plants has temporarily been shut down possibly raising the price of that gas at my local gas station.We are also killing over 200,000 sharks a year because we cut off their fins and use it for shark soup causing them to not be able to swim and they die.

ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing that Saudi Arabia is fixing their oil factory's because we heavily use oils as power and for other things in the USA. It's smart that we have a oil reserve if anything bad happens to us receiving oil from other country's. It's saddening that sharks are passing away more and more each year considering they are at the top of the food chain in the ocean. I feel like rats are a lot smarter then we think as they know how to hide and where to run which helps them out in the real world when it comes from hiding from predators.
