  1. Saudi Arabia makes more oil than anyone in the world, and after that attack on its biggest oil company, half of its oil production was put on halt, and stocks dropped. Oil prices have been raising since the decreases on oil. Luckily, there oil production will get back on track in 2 to 3 weeks. Humans are sharks biggest enemies. A group of people are studying sharks trying to understand things like their migratory patterns and their way of life. Doing this can help us find out why we are losing sharks in the ocean, and what is happening to them when they migrate.

Oil prices when up ever since the attack of one of Saudi Arabia biggest plant was attacked.Investigators are also trying to find out who attacked the Saudi Arabian oil plant and they say that Iran is apart of it but the country denies the accusations. There is a shark expedition to research and know more about their lives to birthing and mating. The researchers also want to make sure that sharks flourish to keep the food chain in check.

  3. Saudi Arabia's oil stock markets are starting to drop and raise after their attack on their oil production factory. Sharks are now being studied by a group of people, to measure out and find out their behavior. Sharks don't mean any harm, and I find it really cool that people are choosing to study sharks. I hope that Saudi Arabia is able to get back on track with their oil company, and that they're able to sell oil worldwide normally again.

  4. Oil has been front and center in headlines and stock markets since an attack was carried out against oil facilities in Saudi Arabia last Saturday. Luckily, no one was hurt but because it was the target of Yemen Rebels, half of its production was temporarily
disrupted. Causing a surge in oil prices to international stock markets opening on Monday. There`s not a lot known about their lives, other than we know a lot about them. Everything from their
social behavior to their mating habits, up to where they give birth is a mystery. Scientists also don`t know why they occasionally attack humans.

  6. Saudi Arabia exports more oil than any other country, half of their oil production was temporarily stopped after the attack last Saturday. They are using their reserves to make sure that the attack doesn't effect their exports and oil prices which have returned to normal. The U.S. has a reserve that holds millions of barrels of crude oil that will be used if oil from other countries is cut off. Humans are sharks' worst enemy yet researchers are trying to monitor and learn more about sharks and their lives. Sharks easily swim a thousand miles a month, and are essential to the ocean's ecosystem.

  7. Humans are sharks biggest enemies, and also when baby sharks are born they are called pups and also as soon as their born their left on their own to live, hunt, and survive.

They made a blowup house that is literally as big as an house, actually even bigger than a house for some reason.

  8. Saudia Arabia oil crisis has been resolved and that the prices will go back in about two weeks. It’s good that it’s going back to normal it’s good that it wasn’t changed forever. People don’t know much about sharks lives but without them the whole food chain will collapse. It’s weird that sharks are so dangerous but they help us out so much if you think about it.

  9. It's a good thing that Saudi Arabia is fixing their oil factory's because we heavily use oils as power and for other things in the USA. It's smart that we have a oil reserve if anything bad happens to us receiving oil from other country's. It's saddening that sharks are passing away more and more each year considering they are at the top of the food chain in the ocean. I feel like rats are a lot smarter then we think as they know how to hide and where to run which helps them out in the real world when it comes from hiding from predators.

  10. Oil facilities have been attacked in Saudi Arabia. Investigations are going on to determine who organized and planned this attack. The U.S stores oil about 4,000 ft. under the ground. Humans are sharks biggest enemies. Researchers are doing projects on sharks. Without sharks in the ocean there are no fish. The food chain for sea animals will be messed up. People should really stop trying to hurt sharks because what's the point. We are in their environment so we can't really complain when they start to hurt us. Rats are learning how to play hide and seek. I think that's pretty funny because who sits there and teaches rats how to play hide and seek.

  11. Saudi says that the attack damage to oil prices won't stand long. This is because they are going to use there reservation of oil to make sure the oil prices they stay the same. The USA also has an oil reservation for emergencies. This has only been used 3 times.

A team of researchers have been studying sharks by putting tracking devices on them to track their movements. These sharks move about 1,000 miles per month. German scientist have been studying rats, trying to understand if they can play hide and seek, and they seem like they can.

  22. Because of the attacks on the oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, oil prices in the stock market increased for a temporary time. Officials have stated that oil production will be back to normal in two to three weeks. Countries who are buying oil are relieved because prices are going to be lowered.

Scientists are now doing research on sharks and tagging them to map out their travel patterns. They are trying to prevent sharks from going extinct. This is good because if sharks went extinct it would mess up the food cycle for underwater creatures.

  31. Saudi Arabia’s biggest oil camp was attacked, causing for half of the countries production to be postponed. This caused for prices of oil to rise, to account for the lack of available oil. The perpetrators aren’t known yet. I’m not effected by the rise in oil prices, but I know that the entire world is being impacted by the rise in oil prices. Another topic today was about researchers studying the living and matting patterns of sharks. Their goal is to have enough information of shark patterns to better protect the species from hunters. I hope that they find a resolution to shark hunting soon, so that the species won’t go extinct.

  36. International stock markets opened for people to buy oil, since Saudi Arabia's oil facility was damaged. This will cause their prices to rise by the barrel. Also the USA has the largest emergency oil reserve called SPR. I find it very beneficial that we have one of these because I know we will need it some time.

  37. While supply became increasingly abundant in 2015, demand for crude oil was decreasing. The economies of Europe and developing countries were weakening, and at the same time, vehicles were becoming more efficient, which caused the demand for fuel to lag. China's devaluation of its own currency suggested that its economy may be worse off than expected. With China being the world's largest oil importer, that was a huge hit to global demand and caused a negative reaction in crude oil.

Another news highlight is about how some people are trying to save sharks. I'm glad they are trying because if they wasn't sharks could go extinct and the ocean food chain would collapse.

The union wants GM to change its plans to close four plants in the days ahead. It`s also pushing for better pay, benefits, job security, and for GM to share more profits with employees.I find it very beneficial that we have one of these because I know we will need it some time.

  48. In Saudi Arabia there was an attack to their oil supply, no one was hurt but this made oil prices surge. The reason that the oil prices surged is because they are make the most oil in the world. Officials say that Iran is a suspect, but they are denying that they had anything to do with this. I hope that they can recover from this attack since Saudi Arabia produces most of the oil for the world, because if they don't then it would affect the world.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve or the SPR is the world`s largest emergency storage of oil. It can hold up to 713 million barrels of crude providing several months worth of import protection to the U.S. The U.S. government says the oil reserve acts as a deterrent to oil imports being suddenly cut off.
