Do you think that Facebook, should add a delay to their videos? or should they be held accountable for the negative actions of others?

I think that facebook live needs to be taken away all together. People are using it for the wrong reasons and things are trending that shouldn't be.
ReplyDeleteFacebook in general could honestly not have seen this coming, people facebook live all the time and its hard to see or determine what they are doing on there live videos all at once. Now what could have been done for a shot amount of time is to take away the live part of facebook and the fact the video was long is what makes it terrible. On facebook though, this couldn't have been prevented ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteI do not think that they should be held accountable for this mans actions because facebook did not tell this man to do this. That man did this on his own because he was going through his own issues which is sad it had to be done like this. People are already in fear for their life this is just extra nonsense thats being added, which did not even have to come about. There are some sick and cruel people in this world who real deal needs help!!
ReplyDeleteThis whole situation is not Facebook's fault. Facebook didn't make him kill people.
ReplyDeleteFacebook should not be held responsible because Facebook did not tell him to go out and kill him or anyone else. He should be held responsible for his actions just because Facebook created the live video outlet for good content and that man used it to do bad stuff that is not face books fault.
ReplyDeleteFacebook doesn't have anything to do with what people decide to do on Facebook live. I do believe Facebook live should be taken down for good because too many incidents are taken place on there. At the same time Facebook shouldn't be held accountable for other's actions.
ReplyDeleteFacebook should not be held responsible because Facebook did not tell him to go out and kill him or anyone else
ReplyDeleteFacebook shouldn't be held accountable although they should restrict those who us it for the wrong reasons
ReplyDeleteFacebook shouldn't be held responsible since they didn't tell him to go out and kill anyone, but Facebook live should probably be taken down.
ReplyDeleteFacebook shouldn't be held accountable, however they should have extra precautions set in place for these types of situations.
ReplyDeleteFacebook should not be held accountable for anything posted on Facebook Live.
ReplyDeletei think that Facebook doesn't have the ability to hinder the timing of Facebook live mainly because it was live. I believe that they may just at least need filters if they don't have them already. it wasn't facebooks fault but they need to take in to account who sees these things and be sure that whoever streams something is actually good.
ReplyDeleteIn an exclusive interview with CNN's Don Lemon, the family of the man whose killing was posted to Facebook spoke about how their dad was stripped of his dignity.
ReplyDeleteFacebook should not be held accountable for these actions.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Facebook should not be held accountable at all for the negative actions of others.
ReplyDeleteNo i don't think facebook should be reasonable for these problems.
ReplyDeleteI think that Facebook shouldn't be held accountable because that they didn't expect this to happen. They had no control over this man's actions.
ReplyDeleteFacebook should not be held responsible because Facebook did not tell him to go out and kill him or anyone else. He should be held responsible for his actions just because Facebook created the live video outlet for good content and that man used it to do bad stuff that is not face books fault.

ReplyDeleteI feel that Facebook has nothing to do what individuals put on their website. If someone commits a horrid crime on Facebook live, it should be reported and then removed if necessary. Facebook can only control so much that occurs on their website.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think that facebook should be held accountable for individuals actions. All facebook does is provide the site. Its the peoples job who are using the app to notify facebook officials. then they can take care of the situation.
ReplyDeleteNo Facebook should not be accountable for this happening but they should have immediately shut down his page once this surfaced.
ReplyDeleteyes there should be a delay on the videos so that Facebook and other social media applications can check if the content is appropriate to watch.

ReplyDeleteFacebook is just an app for social media. Its the person itself choose their actions knowing there will be consequences.
ReplyDeleteFacebook shouldn't be held responsible for what this man did, they couldn't control his actions
ReplyDeletefacebook isnt responsible for it
ReplyDeleteAnything live needs to be done with, like not on the app at all because recently people have been doing crazy things on Live videos. Social media is deterring our brains.
ReplyDeleteFacebook should not be held responsible because Facebook did not tell him to go out and kill him or anyone else. ReplyDeleteFacebook really needs to learn how to block stuff before it gets putout
ReplyDeleteI think that Facebook should be concerned about the good and the bad and block some videos and photos that are uploaded
ReplyDeletei think that facebook should be concerned about the good and the bad thing that people post in their website because facebook suppose to be a family website no an kill website and things like that.
