The Grammy's have become a joke. In the recent years the nominate mediocre white pop stars; like Camila Cabello or Dua Lipa and mediocre 'rappers' like Cardi B and Post Malone. They snub the artist that put in work and time; Florence, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj. Then they get 'performers' that can't even perform. Jlo for a mo town performance? She can't even sing. Shawn Mendes? Can't do anything except sound like a struggling goat with a guitar. The Grammy's are tired and just not the same.
I couldn't agree more with you when it comes to the Grammy's. It's now just some award ceremony to people who use auto tune and throw money left and right while objecting their own bodies. In my opinion, it's rare nowadays to get actual good performers like Bo Burnham or maybe even Aviators. Now it's just becoming a place for amateurs. Sometimes I wish we could have a better genre than "The New Rapping". I honestly prefer the older version from the 90s and 2000s-2010s.
The Grammys is honestly not important to me at all. It might be big for other people but I can't get behind it. Whether they improve their quality to surpass the Oscars is up to them but hopefully their balance works for them.
The reason why I think they did a better job with modern awards ceremony because based on the article they mention the awards co exist more with entertainment and live performances.
The Grammy's is having a hard time with balance because there is not enough entertaining things for the viewers. The ratings fell extremely by roughly 24% in total viewers. This is because they are not selling there advertisement or the people they bring is not good so there wasting money. Even though a lot of on air awards were declined, the Grammy's never gave up by providing a broader celebration of the year in music,as well as tributes that offer performance opportunities. They just need to give the audience something they will enjoy and not something boring.
The Grammys is going no where at this point in life from what I see here. The balance in the Grammy wont change anything really so I don't really care about the Grammy nor what goes on over there.
The Grammy's are trying to accommodate younger viewers. I personally do not care for the Grammy's, because people that should get awards don't. I feel like since it is an awards show, they should focus more on the awards than performances. There is no point in me watching the awards.
I don't really like the Grammy's. It was never really interesting to me. They should make it so that younger people can watch it and relate to it more. There's no point to watching it because it lasts too long so I just look up if anybody I know won after. It's not really important to me.
The Grammy's are nice but I haven't watched TV in a while. It is quite sad that they couldn't find a host. They should've been better prepared for Kevin Hart's rejection of the invitation and have another host ready. No one really watches the Grammy's anymore anyway so to me it doesn't matter much.
The Grammy's only televises 10 presentations, putting emphasis on a concert like atmosphere. It has become boring and the ratings show it with a 24% drop in viewers which is sad. I remember the Grammy's being hyped up each year and people looking forward to their favorite artists being nominated or preforming, now they go for mediocre artists. Overall, the Grammy's isn't how it use to be over the years it has become dull.
The Grammy's are nice , but its just boring. It seems very dull and there no change in it. There a new generation of people and I don't think their very interested in it. The nominations are just unexpectable and a waste of time.
People just want more and to be honest people are going to want more when it comes everything. And when people as a whole don't get what they want, they get bored or they cause a minor or a big disruption. Maybe they should try something different not everything needs to be so traditional. That's what makes things boring.
