  4. last night as the Oaklahoma city thunder went to Denver to play the nuggets in the 4th quater with only little time left in the game Paul George the thunders starting forward hits what people thought was a game ending 3 pointer with only 1.4 seconds left on the clock but with that 1.4 seconds on the clock Garry Harris from the Denver nuggets hits a buzzer beater 3 to end the game and the Thunder lost the game. Another current event going on in sports is everyone trying to figure out if Lebron James will leave the cleavland cavaliers and go to a different team after the 2017-2018 nba season.

  14. Black Panther became the 10th highest grossing movie of all time this past weekend. After a very successful first weekend (and people going to watch the movie 2-3 times), the movie has earned an astounding $506.6 million dollars within its first 3 weeks of launch. It currently sits 9th on the all-time list.
    Also Kobe Bryant became the first basketball player in NBA history to win an Oscar with his short film "Dear Basketball"
