  1. If they want to be cheer leaders then that is their decision, but it may come with controversy.

  2. I think this is a very interesting change. If the NFL allows it, its allowed. I don't really care. There making history anyway.

  3. My concern is why are they even letting boys cheerlead.I think cheerleading is not for boys because it doesn't look right and its just only for girls and girls only.

  4. There are things meant for males, and there are things meant for females. Cheer leading, was obviously made for females. I don't understand why some people want to do what the other gender does to such an extent. It violates basic biology when it goes towards the way people are meant to act, but supposedly, we have to keep peoples feelings in line. If they want to cheer-lead? Go ahead, let them. Next up we'll be getting yelled at for us to make a self impregnating machine of some sort for both genders...

  5. I don't really care about the change but people might not like it and decide to not watch the superbowl. That would make the NFL lose money.

  6. I think adding male cheerleaders to the team won't change anything but it will show that cheerleading is not just for girls.

  7. Honestly, I'm not all for the male cheerleaders. Cheerleaders is a predominant female sport and this takes away from that. It also doesn't look right what so ever when seeing a group of women dancing with a man on a field broadcasting to millions of viewers.

  8. Male cheerleaders should be able to cheerlead for major teams like any female cheerleader. The three men should be proud of themselves for making the squad. This should lead to more males (or any gender)being able to be and perform like a cheerleader.

  9. I think that it is up to the teams that put what they want on it and that silt will make them better I don’t think that they should cause I would not want to

  10. Males have been cheerleading and dancing on female teams for a while now. Even though there is controversy, it shows others that cheerleading doesn't have to be gender specific.

  12. I don't really care about the change but other people might so it's bold to do.

  14. I think this is a surprising and new change to the environment. This doesn't really matter to be honest. It is nice that people are letting a variety of people cheerlead instead of just girls. The more the better you will get more into the spirit.

  15. I think people should do anything whatever they want. They might be able to help out with what they are trying to do.

  16. I honestly wonder if this is the way society was meant to go. I have no problem with the LGBT community, but have they not gotten everything they need now? Equal rights to be married, wrestle as transgenders, win a award for Mrs. Universe for gods sake! They're in movies and so much more. Do we really need more representation for a minority of the U.S population? Its really becoming ridiculous how far us as citizens will go just to please some of these people. I have LGBT friends who are okay with the state of how they are now. But is there really a need for more/ is there really a need to make all of them feel important while ignoring the vast majority who are being given no attention at all? Well if so, fine. let them be cheer leaders.

  17. I feel that boys can be cheerleaders if they want to, they should be able to do whatever makes them happy. Times are changing and people have to accept that and stop being stuck in their ways.

  18. Anything can be for anybody. In this case it's okay that there are male cheerleaders. It's just a thing that happens now. Cheerleading itself already has its downsides. Girls are told to look pretty and cheer for football or basketball players. But does that actually help? Does it actually motivate them to win? A group of pretty girls and some guys or family.

  19. I strongly disagree with this change because to my opinion I am just really shocked about this because in most cases men are usually involved in playing in sports such as baseball, football and basketball.

  20. I don't know. Seems weird. If they really want to dance on a field...I cant say my opinion on this really. It just doesn't feel right to the girls who worked hard to reach that position who actually enjoy looking pretty and dancing for a team they want to win.

  21. I think that it's a step forward in society, and that they should do what they love. They will be harshly judged, but that's just how society is nowadays's.

  22. I support it, boys should be able to do and be whatever they want in life. Even though it is a big difference in society, I think it will show young people also that you can do whatever you want and desire no matter what people think of it. Everyone is obligated to their opinions.

  23. I support this entirely . This is a big step for gender roles in the community. Now woman can be football players and men can be cheerleaders. It's an example that not everything is just black and white.

  26. I support males cheering, I feel as if it's a step forward in society and allowing people to enjoy the things they want regardless of gender. There will be backlash but that is how it is with everything, I fully support.

  29. I think that the nfl can do whatever they want with who can become a cheerleader. I don't really have an opinion on this because people can become offended too easily especially with topics like this

  30. Personally, I am not fully alright with this. Cheer leading is overall what women take pride in doing as its like their football to man's football. It comes off as unsettling such as overly buff woman on a varsity football team
