It depends on the reason the response was inadequate. If it is the sheriff's fault then yes, if it was not then probably not. I the sheriff was too slow then yes, if there was a problem with getting there then the sheriff may not be to blame.
I do agree that the Sheriff in Parkland should be suspended. I agree because the governor thinks that he didn't do his job correctly and because of that a lot of teachers and students we're killed. So I think as a result of the school shooting that the Sheriff in Parkland should be suspended.
I think the sheriff should be suspended because he and his officers didn't follow protocol. They were wasting time when the shooting was happening and were more focused on themselves. The suspension would be a good message to other officers.
I agree with being suspended in parkland. He handed the mass shooting of 17 students and a few teacher dying at the school. the reason is being that even he wasn't the reason of the killing. Honest I really cant pick a side to this story here.

I think that it was right for the Florida governor to suspend Sheriff Israel as he was derelict in his duty. When the Parkland school massacre happened Sheriff Israel neglected his duty and most likely will in the future when other serious things occur. I hope that the state senate will do what is necessary and remove the sheriff from office.

The sheriff should be suspended, because according to the video, he had proper training and knew how to handle the situation. If he had done his job properly, there would have been less casualties. The majority of his fellow officers also agree that he should be suspended.

I disagree that the sheriff should be held accountable. Yes the sheriff does take some blame but shouldn't the school be held at fault? The school should've taken better care of its students . The sheriff shouldn't have to lose his job over this since the police got there anyway. I think the sheriff should not be fired.

I think that the sheriff should be suspended because he didn't act quickly in a crisis situation because it put his life on the line. His job is to put his life on the line to help keep others safe which he didn't do.

The sheriff does need to be suspended. The people didn't follow their instructions. A lot of people died because of it. If he did follow it and people still died, I would understand. He didn't protect the students.
