  1. I believe if people are so immature they will riot and protest because their candidate lost, we will never unify. People must learn to accept losses, even if it is one most are not happy with.

  2. I think that it's too late to protest. Someone is going to get mad and do something drastic which will start something different.

  3. We can unify, but the only ones that want to are out there protesting their rights and beliefs. If you actually want to change the country, stop sitting here and moping. Stop sitting here and criticizing those who are actually doing something about it. The people who are built on hate and discrimination (Trump supporters) are the people who are keeping this country from ever becoming unified and peaceful.

  4. i don't believe that a violent protest was the answer. I know people are devistated but fighting fire with fire is never the answer. They were wrecking other peoples businesses and messing up the streets of their own cities. Who's going to pay for all that? Certainly no the person or group of people that caused the damage.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think we should hope he doesn't fail as a president because we will fall with him. Also it way to late to have a protest. Trump isn't going to get kick out of office just because a protest :P

    ReplyDelete
  6. At this point protesting wont change anything. Eventually everybody will have to get over it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. With Trump preparing to be in office in the next two months, the country will never be unified. It will forever be divided. You can't please everyone, and people are always going to have something to say. Protesting and rioting wont fix anything. There is nothing we can do about Trump being in office, the only other option to get him out is impeachment.

  8. yes. All the mature and civilized people will unify. hopefully

    ReplyDelete
  9. These protests are pointless, because it wont change the fact that Donald Trump is our 45th president.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Why didn't the world end in 2012..

    ReplyDelete
  11. While Trump is president I don't think the country will unify. A lot of people are upset at the fact Hillary lost. The protesting isn't going to change anything. Trump will remain in the White House until his term is over. There's nothing we can do about it.

  12. The country will not unify because some people think since Trump is president that they can do what they want.

    ReplyDelete
  13. they wildin and nothing is going to come from it but death and then they gone be saying #justicefor... but really they bringing it on themselves at this point

    ReplyDelete
  14. nobody will unify until everyone's vote actually counts and everyone feels like their actually equal rather than just being told we are and then being shown we aren't.

  15. Honestly the country is falling apart because people are afraid, but the fact is that these people don't understand the fact we have had presidents before, they have been runned out of office after the republicans notice for which there mistake lays. These are opinions and truly, my opinion will not matter to another because you cant change what they believe in unless they choose. The people rebelling is an act of scarce people and disrespect to the country which if they have such a problem, just leave, but the thing is leaving the country wont get rid of him, gays all stand togethe rfor there rightsd, women stand together and stand up to trump and hillary providing a source that we are not to be messed with. Others are rioting and or want no part of this... Saying our country is doomed due to trump is a little to far due to the fact, we as the people of the country are ruining it right now.

  16. The country will end up unifying after they see how terrible trump is. When we go through poverty then they go soon to see. I think if trump is president we will go through another depression.

    ReplyDelete
  17. these protests arent going to do anything and we wont unify when hes's in office to be honest

    ReplyDelete
  18. I agree and disagree with the protesters. Yeah Trump shouldn't be president, but violence, starting fires, using profanity while protesting, isn't gonna get you anywhere, it's only gonna make things worse.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I don't think the country will ever unify and become one. I feel that the hatred people have for Donald trump is so strong that we will never be able to be on the same page and agree.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I agree with the protesters that he shouldn't be president but at this rate I don't think the country will ever unify.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Protesting is not going to do anything but make it worse for us because then there going to arrest everyone who's protesting. The best idea for us is to impeach when he goes into office because this is crazy, trump is no good.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Nope we will never unify we need to impeach Trump the day after the inauguration. Its to late to unify.

    ReplyDelete
  23. No I don't think the country will unify.

    ReplyDelete
  24. No not at all with trumps outlook it looks like it will be a divide between strong Hillary supporters and strong trump supporters. For all people know these protest could go on for a while and could divide many Americans.

    ReplyDelete
  25. People in our country are too immature to realize that protesting does nothing for them. Protesting won't get Trump out of office so why waste your energy on that. Its just like when you complain to your parents, its not like anything will change. On that note I don't think that the country will unify... until they get what they want. At this point I have just learned that life is nowhere near fair. I feel that it will just be another movement that is being ignored like the BLM movement. I think until we can all accept each other's differences we will get nowhere and its unfortunate for me because Im biracial so I see both sides of the movement. My dad is struggling with the racial hate and my mom is struggling with keeping her family together from the racial hate. It's crazy, too crazy!

  26. the people of the united states has a new president and to think that riots will change the Donald Trump to be president. if you think about it the only thing that could have prevented this form happening if more people voted for Hillary. I believe that america can be unified only when we can accept the new president even if he makes some rude comments and controversial ones too

    ReplyDelete
  27. I agree and with the protesters. Yeah Trump shouldn't be president.

    ReplyDelete
  28. i dont think they will, people really dont like trump

    ReplyDelete
  29. Its pointless to protest at this point. Nobody can change the fact that Trump is our new president.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well, we shall see if he is a good president than so be it but this country needs help. If eh is the answer to our struggles then hey we got to accept it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The morning after Election Day smacked Democrats with a combination of shock and sadness.

Donald Trump would be the next US President. For thousands, disappointment turned to protest as Hillary Clinton supporters channeled their disbelief into a single defiant message.

Its just like when you complain to your parents, its not like anything will change. I agree Trump shouldn't be president, but protesting is uncalled for it only starts more drama for everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The country will most likely separate more while Trump is in office.

    ReplyDelete
  34. i mean we just gotta see when he truly become president because he might be striaght or might not but in my mind i thnik hes gonna do terrible things because people protesting against him and hes gone get mad and maybe do something stupid because he is president

    ReplyDelete
  35. I feel that the country won't unify until Trump is out of office. Their is no point in protesting because it won't get us anywhere. Trump will still be the new president whether we like it or not.

    ReplyDelete
  36. the protests are useless why do them know when he has already won and is going to be our president they act like he will be the supreme ruler of the world he doesn't have that much power and you protesting is useless now its done just accept it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I believe that the country is going to unify no matter what is going to happen. Everyone is going to be in peace in a few years. It is going to be alright.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't think this country will come together. People are so upset about the results of the election that they are doing crazy things like anti trump rallies, starting fires, and etc. The only time this county will come together if there is a time of war. However, if there isn't, this country will forever be divided.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think that the people will never come together. Several protesters said they feared that family or friends might be deported once Trump takes office. Brooklyn White, an 18-year-old protester who voted for Clinton, held a sign that said, "hate won't win." These will seprate families and also all the people.

  40. I don't think the country will unify, although we should.. Trump winning the election divided the country greatly even though it was already divided. Since Trump as been elected for president, there have been many reports of people calling minorities, lgbt, and people with disabilities nasty names in public places such as the gas station, schools, and etc. Hillary may have won by popular vote but it seems like the country is split in two.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I feel as if it is the right thing to do. We all have a voice so we should all use them. He isn't necessarily in office yet. If we all stand up as a country then maybe our voices will be heard. This should have been done though. They should've been protesting.

    ReplyDelete
  42. i think the trigglypuffs should just shut up and deal with it

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think we should hope he doesn't fail as a president because we will fall with him. Also it way to late to have a protest. Trump isn't going to get kick out of office just because a protest :P

    ReplyDelete
  44. this country will never unify, because its citizens are not willing to enforce equality. The united states will remain in a civil war until both sides achieve exactly what they want, which is to be superior. but in present day society minorities like my self will not allow such brazen ideas to transform into a reality.

    ReplyDelete
  45. in my opinion its dumb and unnecessary he our president its nothing we can do about it now people locked up over something we cant control

  50. no the fact that Donald trump is president does not determine if the world is unified or not. as a matter of fact this country has never been unified. the united states as a country has always had at least one person with a different opinion. we have never been unified no matter what race, ethnicity, or social class.

  60. i think that over time people just wont care anymore.hating Trump is basically just a internet trend. And like all trend now that the election over its been decided that trump won. so i think in at least a month the trump trend will just die down and life will resume as normal

    ReplyDelete
  61. I believe that the people will have to unify against donald trumps rule over america. Like maybe america had a brain fart win they let this man be the head of our entire government/ army/ defense/ economy/ ect. This cant get that better but we cant let it get worse.

  68. I think we can't get unify ever because since Trump became a new president too much people have doing demonstration. but i don't think that even through they really don't like Trump. because we can't change any results from vote for new president.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I agree with the protesters. I did not think the country would ever unify. But I saw the polls from the voters aged 18 to 25, and I do think the country will eventually unify. Almost all of the voters aged 18 to 25 voted Clinton, so the future will be bright concerning the next generation.

  71. It's too late for the country to want to "unify" and come together. Why does it take a bad situation for people to want to come together and make things better. You should want to change and do better before the bad happens or you dig yourself in a hole you cant get out of. The country won't unify because we're already divided. Trump being president is bringing some people together now, but give it time and see that everything will go back to normal and the "unity" you see now will be gone.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I do not think we will ever unify because, there was a lot of people who did not like trump and they thought he was a very bad man,now that he is president people are mad.

  79. Trump win the presidential election and he'll be our new president 2 month from now. Trump hater are I call them rebelling for America. I support people who vote for Hiliary, but the thing is for people who hasn't vote and didn't want Trump to win should've done something about it. They should've have voted. Not voting because you didn't want neither of them to win is not an excuse. Having Trump or Hilary as president will kill America either way, but if we had a bad feeling about Trump, then we non voter should've done something about it.

    ReplyDelete
  80. With Trump as president the country will be divided and some states are asking for independence, like California. The racism is dividing the country and it will be like that for the next 4 years.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I believe America will never unify together cause people don't respect other people votes. If maybe people voted, then Hilary would probably win so its a tragedy to America.

    1. As Trump as our president, America will continue protestants and wars that is uncontrollable. Pray for America and to be honest, if I were 18 or older I won't vote for Hilary or Trump but Bernie. Its a shame he left the candidate.

  89. As of now, it dosent look like we are going to unify anytime soon. People dont like the fact that Trump was elected president. They feel as if he is not fit to run our country, and until he proves otherwise people are still going to protest. Soon everyone is going to have to face the fact that he is our president.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Why are the people protesting against Trump? Its already to change any of this yet they still continue on. I found this immature and think just continue with your life instead of protesting and causing and uproar.
