ReplyDeletehe Sundance Film Festival, a program of the Sundance Institute, is an American film festival that takes place annually in Utah. With 46,731 attendees in 2012, it is the largest independent film festival in the United States.[1] Held in January in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, as well as at the Sundance Resort, the festival is a showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers. The festival comprises competitive sections for American and international dramatic and documentary films, both feature-length films and short films, and a group of out-of-competition sections, including NEXT, New Frontier, Spotlight, and Park City At Midnight. The 2015 Sundance Film Festival took place January 22 to February 1, 2015.

(Tbh i'd love to go one day) Another film festival is the Atlanta Film Festival which has been running now for almost 4 decades. It is actually a very large film festival, (one of the largest in the U.S.,) gatherning around 25,000 attendees yearly!

Sharing My Opinion On things are very different. I Celebrate all kinds of festivals and parade events. Like the Gay & Lesbian Pride Festival Even that Runs through atlanta Makes me feel wonderful because the fact that people are coming out to share their feelings with one another is also a great thing. I don't judge and i see them as people, no matter the Ethnicity, gender, etc. all people were created equally, why treat them like their some type of Alien from outer space? ANOTHER Festivals im inlove with is the National Black Arts Festival, Bringing all types of African American artists of Music to join in the festival and Create Music like no other, it's a Excellent festival to see because it expresses the feelings of people in a way of music and openly sharing their abilities of art in music.

ReplyDeleteThe 40th annual Toronto International Film Festival was held from the 10 to 20 of September this year. On the 28th of July the first wave of films were screened at the festival were announced. Jean-Marc Vallee's Demolition starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts were the opening night film. Mr. Right by Paco Cabezas was the closing night film. This year's edition included two new sections called Platform and Primetime.

It hits each spring for two weeks, and presents around 200 films in over 50 countries (America included). The Festival is widely known for highlighting international filming/video production that isn`t exclusive to just US distribution. Since then, the inception its gained has expanded to over 70,000 patrons.

It`s regular annual time is after Labor Day and lasts for over eleven days. It is mostly known for premiering various cool films, such as Argo, Moneyball, Slumdog Millionaire, Silver Linings Playbook, and various other films. It is often referred to as tiff.
The Best are "Cannes Film Festival" ,and the "Toronto Film Festival". The Cannes festival was held in France. The Toronto festival was held in Canada. I think its a cool opportunity to go travel to a foreign country for an exciting festival such as film. To me that would be an amazing experience.

This seems like a wonderful and adventurous festival to attend. It provides filmmakers from around the world, and the space to discuss their ideas and develop critical thinking.
