if it is someone ID that belongs to a school that i go to i would take it to the office and put it in lost and found but if it is someone ID out on the streets i dont know what to do with it cause i wouldnt know where to find them

I would definitely try to give it back to them or turn it in somewhere. I could imagine how stressful it would be to know that your ID, the one thing that identifies you as a person is gone somewhere. Plus, I would want someone to do the same for me if I ever lost my own ID.
It would depend on my mood. If i'm in a regular happy, ok mood then i would try to give it back. If i was in an angry, sick, bad mood then i would leave it.
Considering the fact i left my license in the parking lot of american deli. I would do the same thing the people did for me when they returned it is just look at the address and drive there to drop it off. It makes no sense to just leave someone's id in the place that you found it at least attempt to return it somehow.

If I was to find someone's credit card or ID I would immediately return it. I say I would return it because I believe in karma, and karma is the worst thing a person can face in life. For example, if I were a bad individual I would take their cards and spend them and steal their identity etc. Eventually, something as bad as that will happen to me either at that moment or maybe months or years later. Overall, to stop that from happening I will do good deeds and good ones only because I would like to receive my blessings.
