Lately people have been tweeting about having to pay for their thanksgiving meals. They say it has been a tradition apart of their own family which is quite funny! I thought that everyone spends their own money making a specific dish, bring it to the designated location, and everyone dives in for FREE; at least that is how it is in my family tradition! People say that their grandma or the OG of the family cooks everything while the guests and family members have to pay for the meals. It makes sense if she is the only one cooking but it is a bit obscene.
