The 2018 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) that was held earlier this month was as much about collaborations and partnerships as it was about new technology. Many of the companies at CES were promoting products for the “smart home” such as smart locks, sensors, smart thermostats, smart appliances, and smart entertainment controls that are integrated with voice assistants like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
The situation with Chris Brown and Rhianna was confronted in Chris's recent documentary. He addressed that they had been through a lot of problematic situations. Before that stuff happened, Chris had been wanting to marry her and take things to another level, but he wanted to have integrity before their "love" had been escalated, and tell her the truth about a situation that had happened in the past before they started going out within another female. He confirms that she got really upset and she lost all of her trust for him, and things went downhill ever since. Long story short, Rhianna would hit him first, and as much as he never would want to hit a female ever in his life, it eventually lead to physical fights, and one night he lost his self control, and unintentionally punched her in the face and busted her lips and left other marks as well. He says after that happeened, he had been wanting to commit suicide and he suffered thinking about it. He claims she has forgiven him, but until this day, that situation still haunts him.
Over the weekend Drake dropped an EP named Scary Hours.Lil Uzi Vert has been tweeting about how he is unhappy with his music label because they don't let him release music.Migos also dropped some music. Also Fredo Santana died and also Lil pump found a way to get out of his contract and wants to get in a new one for 10-15 million.

Pop culture in today's society retrieves a lot of hate and disrespect. Pop culture in the generation I was born in has absolutely no originality. If there were more rappers trying to be themselves instead of someone else, then I feel as if then there wouldn't be a lot of mumble rapping, or anything else having a relation to pointless rapping with no meaning. You have a lot of rappers who rap about drugs, sex, and getting money. It is 2018, and I feel as if they need to find a new topic to write about, but that is my own opinion. The individuals who make up this generation are the teenagers and they glorify those things. Especially in Atlanta. Everybody know everybody, and everyone wants to share the EXACT same stool. Then you have the outsiders who try so hard to be different, they don't take the time to realize that all they have to do is, be themselves... which is effortless.
Another thing that is extremely frustrating about this generation and "pop culture', everyone always has something to say about another being. Although this generation has its downsides, I value the fact that you have those groups of -people who take the time out of their day to show acknowledgement towards to personal distinction, and REAL EQUALITY AMONG THE PEOPLE WE LIVE AMONG ON THIS PLANET.
