The merger doesn't seem like anything positive or negative. I don't know enough about either company to have an opinion here. I never heard of SiriusXM before today. I do know this will lead to a more expansive music library for Pandora and possibly removing music from other platforms.
I think that Sirius XM buying Pandora is a smart move because if they come together with a company bigger than them then they can become one of the largest streaming services.
I think this is a good move for the business owners because they are earning more money for their companies. On the other hand, this deal seems like it will end up forcing people to only use their streaming service because the article mentioned it will end up being the "largest audio-entertainment" company in the world. Overall, it seems like a great business move for both of the parties involved because the both benefit.

To be completely honest in certain aspects it is, because they even said Spotify is their biggest competitive. But at least they still have users. The company SiriusXM will give a sense of trust because they were big in 2008.
