yes i do believe the artist who were nominated deserve the award. they were obviously voted by the fans for it so its nobody fault really. i would rather want the artists i like and mostly everyone likes also to win but if they were out voted by the other opponents then they deserve the award cause there was more people who prefer their music then the others.
Everyone deserves their nomination, but I don't feel like everyone deserves the awards. Taylor Swift usually surpasses the nomination amount gaining award after award. I'm not hating on Tay Swift, but I feel like she is not the only artist in this world. The Weeknd has bee on his A- game all year and he most definitely deserves a plethora of awards this year, being that he is an artist and producer. Kendrick Lamar has always been know as "underrated". I'm glad that he has gotten 11 nominations and feel like he should win most of them.
The same people always get nominated or receive awards and it always seems like mainstream radio plays the same songs over and over again just to play them. The best artists are the ones that people are never hyped on but nobody ever has a chance to notice them

Most of the songs that are produced today don`t teach people about moral codes or values and are just a waste of words used to entice people into buying the albums just because it sounds good. I think it is hard for people to write music. When I was younger I always wondered how they were able to come up with ideas for music whether it was from personal experiences or not.
