Basketball players make a tremendous amount of money. They certainly deserve it for dealing with both the game and the amount of people they have to deal with in both real life and on social networks they're signed up to, but their jobs as entertainers (mind you, it literally is for entertainment purposes) and athletes does not qualify them for these types of high salaries. In other valued professions that are valued in our society to keep balance, those professions are paid exponentially less than the players. I'd rather the educators, doctors, and other influences on America make at least half their salaries.

ReplyDeleteNo i feel that basketball players earned all that money far and square. The players are sometimes challenged with tough enduring injuries. They also are hard working individuals that put all there time and effort into what they do. Kobe Bryant is a prime example of hard work and dedication. They did all that to be able to maintain them self and family with all the money they earned.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that professional basketball players make too much money. It's their jobs and it's more than just playing basketball when you're in the NBA. You are a celebrity also, you have to act a certain way in public and you also have to perform at a high level. All basketball players don't get paid millions of dollars and all players don't have signature shoes that they could make millions from.

ReplyDeleteBasketball players who are not stars or important starters on their team should not be signing multi million dollar contracts for multiple reasons, one basketball is not even the most popular sport in the us, two basketball players chances to getting hurt due to the rules and regulations of basketball, it not like their risking future injuries like football, basketball players don't even lift weights. Basketball players that are not very important to their team should not be getting a big check.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the starting players make too much money. The people tat normally sit on the bench should not make as much money as the starting players. The starting players face many injuries, and some injuries may end their careers. In my opinion I think they make the right amount, because of all the injuries they face and how much work they put in. Basketball players work for their money, it's their professions and they make the right amount to me.

ReplyDeleteBasketball players make a tremendous amount of money. They certainly deserve it for dealing with both the game and the amount of people they have to deal with in both real life and on social networks they're signed up to, but their jobs as entertainers (mind you, it literally is for entertainment purposes) and athletes does not qualify them for these types of high salaries. In other valued professions that are valued in our society to keep balance, those professions are paid exponentially less than the players. I'd rather the educators, doctors, and other influences on America make at least half their salaries.

Majority of their money comes from endorsements from shoes deal with companys like nike, adidas, and etc. For basketball players who are more popular or better they know they can make money by doing anything. Basketball isn't their only job that's why they inquire so much money for instance players like Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant Patrick Ewing Steve Kerr Shaq Magic Johnson Charles Barkley and many others stay so wealthy its not just what they do on the court its what they do off the court.

When a person works hard for their money and dedicated to every obstacle, of course they will receive their blessings. Therefore, I don't think basketball players make too much money , they make enough for their hard work and dedication. Whether it is a famous basketball player or a doctor , the much time and effort to put into your everyday work will determine your reward at the end of time. So of course , a person will be granted a nice check, that will make a wealthy lifestyle for them.

Its something they have been working hard and practice their whole life for. and to get in their position there is competition and sacrifices you have to go through. especially since he got his own deal with Nike to help get more money, a professional can never have too much money.
