  1. i have no problem with it at all if felt like it was a powerful statement. i dont understand why there are people freaking out over it honestly thats just silly.boycotting someone just because they are part of the black lives matter movement and because they are representing and appreciating their heritage is ridiculous and i cant really get behind it. i dont even listen to beyonce's music and i see her as a powerful respectable icon and i am behind her and what she did 100%. and btw she killed it at the half time show. she dominated.

  2. Nope, i do not think her performance will neither be a problem or create a problem at all. Actually proud to also see that her fit for the superbowl was inspired by the anniversary of Michael Jackson performing! Even if her performance of formation caused any issues, Beyonce will be the last one worrying about that problem, her net worth is close to equaling 500 million. Her only worries would be making sure that baby of hers has the best education.

  3. I think that #BoycottBeyonce is entirely ridiculous and out of place. It says a lot about the people who support boycotting Beyonce and their real motives. Beyonce's performance was one that celebrated black culture and heritage, and since this IS BHM, I found it very appropriate for her to do so. Her performance was a way to show other people that Black people are not (and should not) be afraid to be black, and it also included a multitude of other female back-up dancers, which is representation for other black youth and people who don't see enough black actors/performers on stage. I thought that it was great, and that she did a good job. #BoycottBeyonce supporters can stay mad, because this is what I believe.

  10. It is a song that basically detailed what kind of person she is and where she comes from. Their isn`t anything really racist about it. Most songwriters write music videos based on where they come from and aren`t ashamed about it. One would feel that this entire situation is nothing more than an excuse to try and start something for no apparent reason.

  11. i don't understand why people getoffended by stuff like that, that makes no sense to me. It was just a song and her performance was great, so I don't understand why people get mad about stuff like that.

  13. My opinion about Beyonce's superbowl performance is that I agree with what she's trying to do even though I didn't get to watch it. This is the first time me seeing Beyonce` as an artist make music about real world problems. Personally, I don't feel like it would create a problem because it's her song she can say what she want it's her feelings and she has the right according to the constitution.

  24. No, I do not believe that Beyonce's performance was a problem, or caused any type of controversy. I believe that she acknowledges her background and where she comes from and that is all that matters. She is authentic to herself and what she stands for as a successful African American woman.

  27. I don't see how the song was an attack against police. I heard in the song all she said and showed was that she wanted police to stop shooting innocent black people. If somebody's mad at that, it means that they're OK with police shooting black civilians.

  46. Her performance should not have offended anyone because it didn't look like anything about the "black lives matter" thing, but she was still slaying.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I understand the protest but I don't really support it. There was nothing that offensive to those extreme measures. That's really just racism trying to squirm back. And like I say in every blog, just idiots.

  49. People don't like it because she's standing up for black and women rights. If it was the other way around, no one would be tripping. I see no problem with the performance and encourage other blacks to do it.

  58. Nothing too extreme in my opinion. it was a well-given speech and deserves to be put out there for all people who may be afraid to speak up against the brutality and murder of African Americans. i'm glad some individuals chose to speak up and speak out about the situation and nothing about it should be stopped.

I FEEL LIKE BEYONCE'S PERFORMANCE AT THE HALFTIME SUPERBOWL WAS AMAZING AND THAT I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT WILL NOT CREATE A PROBLEM THAT HAVE BEEN GOING ON AD THAT WHY WOULD THEY MAKE IT A BIG DEAL WHEN BEYONCE SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT IT BUT DON'T FEEL LIKE ITS A BIG DEAL WHEN OTHERS ADDRESS THE SITUATION OF BLACKS BEING OVER KILLED BY POLICEMAN.
