  9. Scientists march in Washington. They were marching for government funding for scientists, transparency, climate change and evolution. Trump seems to not care about anything and the scientist say he should care because human actions are hurting the Earth.

Donald Trump looked at the solar eclipse without glasses. He had the glasses in his hands and looked and pointed for the crowd to look. A body guard on the lower deck shouted "Don't look". Scientist say you can go blind with the smallest look at the sun. The president is so dumb sometimes.

  10. If you missed the 2017 solar eclipse, don't be mad nor upset because the next solar eclipse will be only 7 years from now in 2024. It will most likely happen on April 8, 2024 in the United States. But for other countries it will happen at different times and dates. For example, 2019: South Pacific, Chile, Argentina, 2020: South Pacific, Chile, Argentina, South Atlantic, 2021: Antarctica, 2026: the Arctic, Greenland, Iceland, Spain, 2027: Morocco, Spain, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Somalia, 2028: Australia, New Zealand 2030: Botswana, South Africa, Australia.
By the end of the century, the global temperature is likely to rise more than 2 degrees Celsius, or 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a 95% chance that Earth will warm more than 2 degrees at century's end, and a 1% chance that it's below 1.5 C.Currently, the World Health Organization estimates that 12.6 million people die globally due to pollution, extreme weather and climate-related disease.

  14. Scientist have uncovered a new species of extinct dolphins. The new species Inermorostrum xenpos lived along side the Corodon, which was a species of prehistoric whale. The Inermorostrum was found in charleston not to far from where the Corodon was found. This find has given some of the clearest evidence of suction feeding in echolocating mammals.

A rare native bird to Australia thought to be extinct has been rediscovered. In the 1970's Greg Roberts was in the Conodale Range when he heard a sound that he says " It still sends chills up his spine." What he heard was the marbled frogmouth bird. Him and his fellow bird watchers recorded its call and did other surveys on it. This discovery lead to them finding more later on in the area. Roberts and many other people new about it and helped protect them, but for some unknown reason it's only now being reported.

  26. A strange dead star may be a remnant of what was essentially a miniature supernova, a new study finds.
The properties of this bizarre star may help shed light on how the unusual supernova that created it formed, the study's researchers said. The scientists investigated white dwarfs, which are super dense, Earth-size cores of dead stars that are left behind after stars have exhausted their fuel and shed their outer layers. Mars may experience snowstorms at night, a new study finds, suggesting that the Martian atmosphere is far more active than previously thought.

Mars is dry compared to Earth: Its cold nature makes it unlikely that any of the ice on the Red Planet's surface would melt, and its extremely thin atmosphere would cause any liquid water on the surface to vaporize nearly immediately. Still, Mars' atmosphere does possess clouds of frozen water.

The first study used a statistical analysis to show that there is a 95% chance that Earth will warm. The second study analyzed past emissions of greenhouse gases and the burning of fossil fuels to show that even if humans suddenly stopped burning fossil fuels now, Earth will continue to heat up.
The NASA Kepler discovered 219 more exoplanets. Ten of them being the size of Earth and also within the habitable zone of the stars the Earth orbit -- meaning they could support liquid water on their surface. Kepler has now identified 4,034 planet candidates, and 2,335 of them have been confirmed as exoplanets. Also 50 candidates are similar in size to Earth, with more than 30 of them confirmed.

  36. The Tiger snake's venom has beat evolution. Over the past 10 million years the snake's venom has not changed neither has the snake's prey. The reason for that is because the snake causes the blood to stop clotting . So if the snake's prey were change the prey could die because of that change . So really it's a win for the snake but a lose for their prey.

There is a company that claims solar eclipse helped 5G salmon escape . So now the Department of Fish and Wildlife is asking the public to help caught as many fish as they can. Because they are worried that the fish could endanger the life of the native fish . In ways such as passing disease and could take over the feeding and spawning grounds also.
A Cooke spokeswoman doubled down on the eclipse explainer late Tuesday, and she also added that the escaped salmon weren't a threat to native fish because they wouldn't survive.

Another process proposed in 2014 would use microbes to convert the waste and other organic material into fuel. But waste might have other uses that would be especially helpful during long-term flights. Synthetic biologists at Clemson University in South Carolina are working with NASA to use algae and genetically modified yeast to turn astronaut urine into 3-D printable plastics and nutritional omega-3 fats.China’s first emperor broke the mold when he had himself buried with a terra-cotta army. Now insight into the careful crafting of those soldiers is coming from the clays used to build them. Custom clay pastes were mixed at a clay-making center and then distributed to specialized workshops that cranked out thousands of the life-size figures, new research suggests. Roughly 700,000 craftsmen and laborers built Emperor Qin Shihuang’s palatial mausoleum in east-central China between 247 B.C. and 210 B.C. A portion of those workers gathered clay from nearby deposits and prepared it in at least three forms, researchers propose in the August Antiquity. On-site or nearby workshops used different signature clay recipes for terra-cotta warriors, parts of mostly bronze waterfowl figures and paving bricks for pits in which the soldiers originally stood.
