Hong Kong has been recently been getting worse with their situation of China wanting to take over their land. The police and protesters have seemed to have gotten more intense as days continued to go on. A "CNN Hero" was reported on, for converting used RVs to new homes for displaced wildfire survivors. He felt that, for the people whom survived fires, left without a home, didn't deserve the fate that they had. I hope the people in Hong Kong stay strong, and that the Chinese manage to settle things peacefully, controlling their corrupt ways. The man whom converts RVs into homes for homeless people are stunning people, and the type of people that need to be in America.
I think what is happening in Hong Kong could easily be prevented. All those people should be able to keep their basic rights. The forest fire story was really cute. It's really nice that this man is coming out of his own pocket to help these people who lost their homes and most of their belongings.
I don't understand why China is still communist. They should just switch to democracy, like Hong Kong. Hong Kong should be able to vote if they want to combine with China, cause they have rights there. It would also allow China to not be in a struggling situation.
What Faircloth is doing right now is very generous of him. Helping other people in need by buying them a RV is great, cause they can move out of the country without fuss. I also wonder how they get gas, if they don't have jobs? Also bathtub racing is my new favorite activity.

That Hong Kong protest that was going on for more than 10 weeks is crazy cause people was throwing smoke bombs and promoting/doing violence.
Also the one about people being the main cause of wildfires cause of cigarettes, arson, campfires, and fireworks was crazy cause i would the it would be lightning but i guess i was wrong, and people need to stop smoking for one .

I believe this is really not going to help, because they are only cutting out beef. They would need to do other practices. Mr. Woody helped those who became homeless from the California Camp Fire. I feel as if he is changing lives. An act like this should be advertised more, because if I knew about it, I would have contributed.
I feel that if that many people are concerned enough to come out and protest that there is obviously something that needs to be changed or done in Hong Kong. i don't feel like just them fighting them off is the right way to do things and that they should give them their rights. i also feel that the man and his daughter willingly giving people RVs for people who have lost their homes in the California wildfire is a very selfless act. What I think about the things that are happening in California with the wild fire is that its a terrible sight to see these family's homes burned down to the ground and see the animals whose habitats have been destroyed.I think what's going on in Hong Kong is wrong because people are protesting and getting things shut down over how people feel about a part of Hong Kong becoming china and I think its sad because people have to protest all the time for the government to understand these people. And people are getting hurt as well which is wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think what is happening in Hong Kong could easily be prevented. All those people should be able to keep their basic rights. The forest fire story was really cute. It's really nice that this man is coming out of his own pocket to help these people who lost their homes and most of their belongings.

ReplyDeleteI feel that if that many people are concerned enough to come out and protest that there is obviously something that needs to be changed or done in Hong Kong. i don't feel like just them fighting them off is the right way to do things and that they should give them their rights. i also feel that the man and his daughter willingly giving people RVs for people who have lost their homes in the California wildfire is a very selfless act. I do think what the woman said about two strangers who knew nothing of her before helping her get a home is true and it is a great thing that they are doing for people who have been through a whole lot.
ReplyDeleteHong Kong has been recently been getting worse with their situation of China wanting to take over their land. The police and protesters have seemed to have gotten more intense as days continued to go on. A "CNN Hero" was reported on, for converting used RVs to new homes for displaced wildfire survivors. He felt that, for the people whom survived fires, left without a home, didn't deserve the fate that they had. I hope the people in Hong Kong stay strong, and that the Chinese manage to settle things peacefully, controlling their corrupt ways. The man whom converts RVs into homes for homeless people are stunning people, and the type of people that need to be in America.

The government needs to do something about this before it becomes even more worse. If Hong Kong joins with the rest of china then the citizens will lose some of freedoms that they have in Hong Kong.
