  1. The New England Patriots visited the White House on Thursday to commemorate their Super Bowl XLIX win.In his opening speech, President Obama apparently couldn't help himself and cracked a Deflategate joke."I usually tell a bunch of jokes at these events, but with the Patriots in town, I was worried that 11 out of 12 of them would fall flat," Obama said. There were definitely some mixed reactions, but most of the players laughed (nervously and politely, as to not upset the leader of the free world), while Patriots owner Robert Kraft sported a small smile.

  2. CNN-How Google is endangering police officers

For the fifth year in a row in 2014, ambush attacks on police officers were the No. 1 cause of felonious deaths of law enforcement officers in the line of duty. Nevertheless, Google continues to market a smartphone application that lets lawbreakers pinpoint the location of police officers in the field. Google's executives won't even discuss the subject with organizations representing law enforcement. Google's popular real-time traffic app, Waze, uses GPS navigation and crowd-sourcing to alert users to traffic jams, automobile accidents, stalled cars, and through its "traffic cop" feature, the presence of law enforcement, however instead of warnings given to drivers often Waze is used to hunt officers. Hopefully google will change the settings on this app to protect motorists and officers.

As tourists stroll between Yellowstone's 300 active geysers, taking selfies in front of thousands of bubbling, boiling mud pots and hissing steam vents, they are treading one of the planet's greatest time bombs and it's bigger than anyone thought. The park is a super volcano so enormous, it has puzzled geophysicists for decades, but now a research group, using seismic technology to scan its depths, have made a bombshell discovery.

  11. he U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments Tuesday in a case that could decide whether gay and lesbian couples nationwide have the constitutional right to marry. The question at the core of Obergefell v. Hodges is one of the most consequential debates of the early 21st century, and one that is already helping to shape the 2016 presidential race.

Appeals courts nationwide have moved decisively toward supporting same-sex marriage, but a split at the appellate level helped propel the issue to the nation's highest court, led by Roberts.

Dylan current event is irrelevant. this man wrote about tank trouble.this girl lost my project. so now i'm failing language arts. and i did my part, she just lost it. so now i'm failing, language arts of all things. it took all my strength not to drop kick gabby through two sets of tables when Mrs. Franklin told us we failed. gabby, if your reading this, get up, don't even do your blog, just take another zero, got to coach Stafford class, and hand him a strawberry frosted pop tart, and tell him its for Quincy white 4th period. you owe me that. you owe me many. if i have to take summer school and wake up that early i will walk to your house and ring your doorbell till you wake up too because i am beyond petty, if you don't answer the door, i will dress up like the mailman, hop your fence, and egg your backyard and when you get to school i will roast your soul away about how nasty looking your backyard is. Mrs. sanders, can you please raise my grade to an A so i can have a 2.8 GPA again. i know i only have a 72, but you can take those 20 points from gabby. she doesn't care. plus i should really have a B, Mrs. Williams never put in any grades. and when i wanted to talk about it she'd say stay after school, so you know i never showed up for any of that. pppplllleeaaaasseeeeee raise my grade. oh and #failgabby2k15 :)

In the 4th quarter the Warriors where down by 20 and Draymond Green (Defensive Player of the year runner up) had 5 fouls. This situation didn't look good for the Warriors but then shots started to fall and turnovers where made and the unthinkable happens. Stephen Curry makes an amazing corner 3 point shot in the 4th quarter to send them to OT. In Overtime the Warriors took over the tempo of the game and took a win.

  20. Great NBA teams find a way to win no matter what, and the Golden State Warriors are a great team.

At a time when it looked like the New Orleans Pelicans were about to turn a playoff corner and unseat the league's best Thursday night, the Warriors took Game 3 and made it their own.

Trailing by 20 entering the fourth quarter, on the road, with no momentum beneath their feet, the Warriors fought back to force overtime, where they would inevitably pull away and leave Smoothie King Center one win from advancing into the second round.

  21. March 2012, off-duty Chicago veteran police officer, Dante Servin shot and killed Rekia Boyd an unarmed woman at the age of 22. Officer Servin was charged with involuntary manslaughter. He was aquitted of all charges. There are two root causes of police brutality. Those causes are the officers’ position in society and their connections with the people of law. They hold a position where they can be held in charge of order which gives them desire to confront and take matters into their own hands.

Then the guy that interviewed him asked questions that were totally uncalled for.

Police with shields and the SWAT team have held up against thousands of angry black people, but I do not believe the force they've brought to the equation is helping. They are arresting men right and left out there, some for decent reason and others not. Meanwhile back in Ferguson, two people have been shot, and police do not know whether or not the shootings are related to the protests.
