I am just now hearing about Wes Craven. I've seen almost have of his movies Nightmare On Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, and more. I never knew about him but I know that these movies were amazing and did leave me in horror. I can still name all the killers of each movie even though it's been a while since I've seen them. All my life I've been watching every "Scream" that's been out and now I'm kind of sad because I never knew all these years who made them. But the sad part is I only find out when the creator dies from natural causes. Moreover, I can't believe there isn't going to be another Scream ever in theaters. ReplyDeleteWes Craven flimed all of the the "Scream Movies" and plenty other horror films. He was known for creating the best horror films known to man and he left that legacy of him behind,
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite films that Wes Craven made was the scream trilogy. This was one of the greatest and most popular sci-horror films ever made by him. He made tons of money for being the director of his awesome films now that he has passed he will be missed and be honored for his great life of movie making.

His legacy was based on scary movies/ horror films . His standard of film will probably never be matched by anyone . He will go down in history as one of the best to ever do it.
I have never heard about this filmmaker before but just looking him up on google and seeing the amount of film he have made is a whole lot of legacy behind.Am sure his movies was very interesting.his 2 most successful films are The last house on the left and The hills have eyes.

ReplyDeleteWes Craven was an amazing American film maker. he made the movies scream 1-3, the people under the stairs, and the hills have eyes. my favorite movie/ movie series he has done is the scream series. hes was such an amazing film maker. his memory will live on in every horror movie i watch.
ReplyDeleteMan, this is a loss, Nightmare On Elm Street and the Scream Franchise were my favorites. There will not be another horror genius like Wes. His legacy of movies were incredible and will keep us scared enough when he's away. R.I.P. best scary movies.

ReplyDeleteNightmare On Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, and more. I never knew about him but I know that these movies were amazing and did leave me in horror. I can still name all the killers of each movie even though it's been a while since I've seen them. He has indeed left a great legacy.

ReplyDeleteWes Craven was a horror maestro who had to best known for his movies "Nightmare On Elm Street" and also "The Last House On The Left". His main featured character known was Freddy Krueger. Which would end up giving kids nightmares generations later. Also Craven was the mastermind of the Ghostface character in Scream, this man has left behind a legacy for even a young teenager like me who is just 17 to see half of his horror films and slasher films by the age of 15.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know who Wes Craven was until I looked him up and saw all of his work. I haven't even heard about him dying, Although, he is known for Nightmare On Elm Street series, the Scream series, The hills Have Eyes, The Last House on the Left, etc. Those few movies alone were what i grew up watching, my family and I watch many scary movies and Nightmare on Elm Street is a classic.

ReplyDeleteWes Craven has passed away due to brain cancer. He left behind a legacy of being the master of horror movies .He was a legendary horror director behind the ironic movie "Scream." He is a director of 29 movies. As well , he left his mark on the horror movie genre since his first feature in 1972.
The legacy he has left behind would be a very meaningful one. He was very successful at making movies. Plenty of people are going to look up to him for all of the accomplishments he has achieved.
ReplyDeleteI personally never watched a film directed by Wes Craven. Wes is a very popular director who specialized in horror films(nightmare on elm's street featuring Freddy Kruger). Wes died from brain cancer today August 30, 2015. Unfortunately i have never watched any of his films, because i'm not a big horror fan but I've always wanted to see his movies.

He was known as a terrific scary movie director. He got the international fantasy film award in 1995 for "A nightmare on elm's street". He was also nominated for the saturn award in 1997 for "scream".
All my life I've been watching every "Scream" that's been out and now I'm kind of sad because I never knew all these years who made them. But the sad part is I only find out when the creator dies from natural causes. Moreover, I can't believe there isn't going to be another Scream ever in theaters. Craven was very talented for creating horror movies that every found exciting and interesting and will live on forever.
