Therefore, Cutbirth talked her through the entire procedure of stitches on his face so that he could happily continue his vacation. Cutbirth stayed extremely calm throughout the whole incident.

Investigators say a New York City woman who disappeared on a walk while visiting her mother in Massachusetts has been found slain in the woods.
Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said Monday that 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte was reported missing after failing to return from a Sunday afternoon walk in Princeton.
Her body was found Sunday night by a state police canine unit about a half-mile from her mother's home. Authorities say her death appears to be a homicide. An autopsy is scheduled.

ReplyDeleteThis Sunday a 10 year old named Caleb Thomas Schwab, son of Rep. Scott Schwab of the Kansas legislature, died on a water slide at Schlitterbahn water park. Officials say Scott decided to ride Verrückt, the worlds tallest water slide which is 17 stories high and propels riders 50 mph. No other details were released on the boy's death. His parents are very devastated when they found out about this tragedy. "Since the day he was born, he brought abundant joy to our family and all those who he came into contact with," is what his parents said about the incident and how it affected them. In other news, in northwestern Pakistan, about 63 people were killed in a hospital by an explosion from a bomb. The event took place on Monday at 9:30 in the city of Quetta."No one will be allowed to disturb peace in the province that has been restored due to countless sacrifices of security forces, police and the people of Balochistan," says Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in response to the explosion. They have yet to find the culprit and no other information has been released.

ReplyDeleteAt least 70 people were killed in shooting. Many of them believed to be lawyers and journalists. The blast took place at 9:30 a.m. local time (12.30 a.m. ET) Monday in the city of Quetta. The explosion rocked the emergency ward of the civil hospital, Sarfaraz Bugt home Minister of Balochistan. The explosion also injured at least 112 others, said Rehmat Baloch, the health minister of Balochistan province.

DeleteIn Northwestern Pakistan, today at least 70 people were believed to been killed by an blast. Many believe them to be journalist, and lawyers. Also, in he explosion it has seem to have injured 112 others. It took place in the city of Quetta at about 9:30 A.M. The attack happened after many lawyers and journalists had gathered at the hospital following the death of prominent lawyer Bilal Kasi, who had been killed in a shooting earlier in the day. As of now Kasi's attackers have not been identified, also for the explosion no one has been blamed or taken responsibility for it.
ReplyDeleteIn other news the Olympics have begun in Rio, and they are growing the amazing swimmer Micheal Phelps, won his 19th gold medal. He is an Olympic swimmer and has a total of 23 gold medals as of now. Phelps hopes to bring home more gold medals.
Two current and important events that are taking place are the preparation for the elections in November and the 2016 Olympic Games. Several accidents happened during the Olympics (a French man broke his leg in one of the gymnastic events, a Dutch cyclist fell off her bike…). Also, Hillary Clinton campaign has been using Donald Trump’s own words against him, but currently the Republican nominee is returning the favor and made several videos mocking her.

Local ancient theories have helped some athletes cope with the pain using the technique called "cupping" . Which consists of having round glass suction cups that are warmed, then placed on sore parts of the body. The placement of the glass cup creates a partial vacuum, which is believed to stimulate muscles and blood flow, while relieving pain. This year's Olympic games are going to be big this year and I'm sure these athletes aren't going to let a little pain get them down.

ReplyDeleteA family of 5 in Pennsylvania and their dog, was shot to death in their home. The parents, Megan and Mark Short had domestic issues but it is not clear who shot the family. Their daughter, Williow Short was only 2 years old, and had a heart transplant at the age of two. Her other two siblings, Liana (8) and Mark Jr. (5) were also shot to death with the handgun. The handgun was left with a note alongside it. The note was a murder/suicide note, and it hasn't been specified who shot the family.
The Olympics are currently going on. Its an event where many athletes compete in different sports against each other. They are playing for Example Basketball, Soccer and many more.

Last week,a 24-year old man was charged for the deaths of his twin daughter, he left them in a hot car last month , he left them in the car and went inside the house to go to sleep as he came back to the car to go somewhere he noticed the girls were unresponsive so he was charged.

People are very devastated that their items are being picked up from the Paris terrorist attack in November. On the bright side, those items will be on display in the nearest museum.

We had sausage,hamburgers,hot dogs,fish, potato salad, devil eggs, baked beans with meat in it, collard greens , chicken, dressing , cookies,pies,cakes, ice cream, tea, lemonade, orange fanta , cherry fanta, sprite ,and coke. It was a great time.
One current event is that a young boy died on a water slide at Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas. I feel as if the water park should be charged for not having a safe ride. however, because not all the details of the young boys death were released to the public, there could be information that proves that it was the boys fault as to why he was killed. Therefore, i can not say weather the park or boy are at fault.
ReplyDeleteAnother current event is, a freediver was attacked by a shark in the Bahamas. Dr. Steve Cutbirth was on vacation diving in the ocean when he was attacked by the shark. The shark attacked his face and knee. When he surfaced, his family and friends on the boat hurried and took a 45 minute drive to the nearest hospital. Once arriving there, there was no doctor that had ever dealt with a shark wound. Therefore, Cutbirth talked her through the entire procedure of stitches on his face so that he could happily continue his vacation. Cutbirth stayed extremely calm throughout the whole incident.
