Talk about what you enjoyed on the VMA's last night. If you did not watch it, comment on whether you think Rihanna was worthy to win the Michael Jackson award.
I enjoyed Beyoncé's performance and Teyana Taylor's video the most last night. They are both great artist to me. Although Rihanna's voice was a little off last night, she is still a good artist outside of that so I think that she was worthy to win the Michael Jackson award.
I mean the performances were okay the vmas was kinda boring except for key an peele and dj khaled , and i think rihanna was somewhat worthy enough to get the micheal jackson award, she has been around a long time doing big in the music industry .
The 2016 VMA AWARDS was a success. I didn't get a chance to see all of it but I did see that Rhianna performed 4 times and sung all of her songs. She was presented with the Michael Jackson award of the night. I think after Justin Timberlake and Beyonce RiRi has stepped up the game to own and actually earned this grand award!
To be honest, I think that a lot of other people could've gotten the Micheal Jackson award but Rihanna obviously stood out and was good enough so therefore she deserves it.
No i do not believe that she should have been awarded this certain reward because to me she hasn't changed anything, all she did was share her music but she hasn't really made a big difference. but its whatever because the award is given to people who have made a profound effect on the MTV culture, and she might have and i just haven't realized it

Rihanna honestly could have done better than what she did last night. Something was clearly wrong with her voice but she still is a good singer. She deserved the Micheal Jackson award but she could've done a lot better.

Rihanna makes music that everybody likes. She has over 19 billion views on youtube and has sold plenty of mixtapes and albums. From the beggining of her career she has won everones respect and love. She is an overall great artist and her role in Battleship was fierce. She will forever be successful and worthy of this award.
I started to tune in to the vmas last night around Beyoncé's performance and I have to say that it was spectacular. her whole performance was everything. she did a mixture of all of her songs she has made her performance was one that I don't think anyone had a problem with watching.
The VMA's was one of the best of all time. Beyonce and Rihanna were one the best performances that i seen last night. Their performances were of the charts, Rihanna performed like 3 or 4 times and she killed it.
I have not watched the VMA awards last night but heard a lot about it. Rihanna is an amazing artist with many fans and exhilarating music to extend the fan list. the award i feel was greatly awarded to her because of that fact. In the industry she fights and knows to give respect and such that she will do whatever to gain and understand the fact all her fans are the respect giving and she gave that effort to encourage that.

The vma's last night was good. The thing I like the most was the video Kanye West showed for everyone. It was quite entertaining. It was I think a music video , but i didn't really pay attention to that. Although the VMA's was very fun to watch. It was a lot of stars there also.
According to CNN, "Rihanna performed several of her hits throughout the night including, "We Found Love," "Where Have You Been" and "Work." At the end of the show, Drake surprised viewers by presenting RiRi with the Video Vanguard Award." I don't think she should have been awarded the Michael Jackson award.
I believe that she did deserve it. Not only is she a great singer she is a great entertainer in general. The performance that I like the most was Beyonce's, she did her whole album!!!!
i really didn't really watch the VMA's but any award earn is well deserved. Rihanna deserved it because she was the one to get the award and any body that was nominated would have deserved it too. she may have one an award that maybe iconic because of its name. people like to see her win it while others thought the other nominees should have won it. after all is said and done i believe that most award shows should be a great thing to watch but for me i was only watching football.

Not only has she worked in the field of music, but she's worked in the fields of fashion and acting.

In my opinion, I don't care who won because I wan never a fan of any of the artist in rosters. But maybe Rihanna do deserve do awards since she do have some famous music and earn quite myriad moneys so really I don't know.
I do think that Rihanna should've gotten the Vanguard reward. She deserved it for all her hard work. She's very humble, and her music appeals to all groups. "Work" featuring Drake was #1 on the charts in 40 countries 3 hours after it released. She also surpassed Michael Jackson in the Billboard charts. Therefore, she was worthy enough to earn the Vanguard award.
The VMA's were outstanding to me. A lot of the performances were nice. Rihanna And Beyonce hit the stage last night. Rihanna was awarded the Video Vanguard Award. To me, any award earn is well deserved. To, me Rihanna worked hard to get to where she is today, and that award finally proves for her that hard work pays off. Also, I enjoyed the end when Drake surprised Ri with the award. The show was overall great.
I hated the VMA's, it was terrible. I was confused the whole show. The performances were terrible and they were highly confusing. Kanye West made a terrible speech and his new music video was awful. Overall Beyonce had the best performance. Brittany Spears tried to make a comeback, but it seems to me as if she has lost her skills.. her performance was very awkward.

Kanye West debuted the phenomenal "Fade" music video with Teyanna Taylor being the star. Also Beyonce blessed MTV with her presence. Hopefully MTV will continue to please the audiences and bring a pleasing 2017 VMA awards.

I did not watch the VMA's. The only part of the VMA's that I saw was Rihanna's performance, and singing wise it was horrible. I have never heard her sing like that before. Prior to that performance, I think she deserved the award.

The VMA's was pretty good this year. Beyonce showed out as usual, I really enjoyed her performance. She lived up to being the Queen Bee. Rihanna did a good job too, her second performance was a little shaky, but she did good in the last one singing "Love On The Brain."

ReplyDeleteI did not watch it so i dont know anything about a Micheal Jackson award but rihanna herself is very good at what she do so i think she is worthy of winning any award with Micheal Jackson name written on it.
ReplyDeleteI did not watch the VMA's. The only part of the VMA's that I saw was Rihanna's performance, and singing wise it was horrible. I have never heard her sing like that before. Prior to that performance, I think she deserved the award.

Although Rihanna's voice was a little off last night, she is still a good artist outside of that so I think that she was worthy to win the Michael Jackson award.
ReplyDeleteThe VMA's was pretty good this year. Beyonce showed out as usual, I really enjoyed her performance. She lived up to being the Queen Bee. Rihanna did a good job too, her second performance was a little shaky, but she did good in the last one singing "Love On The Brain."
