I think what makes so called "good television" is the thirst to want more. If you watch one episode of something and your bored your most likely not gonna watch another. There has to be some kind of thrill to want you to keep watching. There also has to be new fresh ideas. You cant have the first couple episodes be really good and then the rest bad. You cant drawl people in just to disappoint them. To have something be good television is has to appeal to alot of audiences. Overall you just need something that doesn't bore people or only catches the eye of a certain group. You need something that keeps people on the edge of there sets wanting more.

The most important elements of a good show is a great cast and a good story line. Not just cast that are professional, but that have chemistry together and work well together. That's why the old 90's shows like Martin, Fresh Prince, The Cosby and A Different World were so popular and are now classics. The casts genuinely worked well together and had great chemistry. Not too many shows have casts like that anymore. Those shows were left in the early 2000's, but some are coming back. Story lines are important so it'll wrap the watchers in to what's going on. Without a good story line what's the purpose of watching? As I don’t watch any TV shows, I’m going to write about my favorite TV series. Its name is Vis a Vis. It is a Spanish drama television series produced by Antena 3. This TV series is about a girl called Macarena, who falls in love with her boss and commits several misappropriation crimes so consequently she is sent to Cruz del Sur Prison as a precautionary measure. In there she has to find the way to survive her seven year sentence by changing and transforming all her innocent personality. While she is in the jail, her family has to challenge a lot of struggles because they get involve in the search of a large sum of money. This is is my favorite TV Spanish series because is really intriguing and you can see the evolution of all the characters during the two seasons.
If I had to choose a favorite TV show, it would have to be the House of Payne on CBS by Tyler Perry. It shows a different black family that we normally don't see in the community, a single dad and two kids. It shows us how CJ raises his two children, Jasmine and Malik. They live in CJ's aunt & uncle's house because their own home was burned down by Jeanine, CJ's ex-wife. Jeanine is not your typical black mother, she struggles with drug addiction and hides it from the family after the house is burned down until Aunt Ella confronts her and informs her nephew, CJ. This situation isn't very practical but it does help bring awareness to single fathers, and that all fathers in the black communities aren't all "deadbeats."

My favorite show is the "First 48". The show is about homicide detectives all around the world solving mystery cases. On the show, there really is no cast, except the homicide team, and the police. The show started in June of 2004, and has yet to keep going. Its called "The First 48" because the homicide team and detectives are trying to beat the clock before it runs out. Sometimes they do, maybe they don't but they always crack the case. This has been my favorite show since 2012, because it's very interesting it keeps you intrigued, and not wanting to turn the channel. If you have never seen the show I recommend you watch it, it's and very interesting.

BET's first hourlong scripted drama is a follow-up to the same-titled TV movie that premiered on the network in the summer of 2013. The series returns Gabrielle Union to the lead role of Mary Jane Paul, a successful cable news anchor who has a closet packed with designer clothes and shoes, a beautiful home, a nice car, and the drive to achieve even greater heights. Whats makes good television, is authenticity , uniqueness , one of kind type of characteristic the things we watch should make us feel some type of way but like a good feelings.The show shouldnt remind you of another show it should be unique, and you want to continue to watch it basically.
My favorite television show is Revenge by Mike Kelley.This show is about an emotionally troubled young woman makes it her mission to exact revenge against people who wronged her father. She will go to any length to exonerate her father. This is a great show because it leaves you wondering what the next move will be and who will survive, basically it will have you guessing to the very end. Every episode of every season will leave you jaw dropped and wanting more. Unfortunately this show ended at season 4 in 2011 and it was a great ending. I would highly recommend this show to others and I'd watch it again.
my favorite tv show is game of thrones. It has a great story line ive also read all the books. It has many great and interesting plot point and events, i can binge watch it all day. it also kinda feels like im watching a history movie every episode and my favorite subject is social studies. These elements really appeal to me as a viewer.

My favorite show is full house because throughout the show you see the adults and kids growing up. even thought they're not a real family it seems and feels like it.
My favorite show has got to be Wakfu. It's got a uniqueness to it in the fact that its animation flows and none of the scenes are reused. Above all, it's in french. A good show captures its target audience, runs for a couple seasons, leaves no cliffhangers in the end, has a little something for everyone, and is different from anything you usually see.

My favorite tv show is The Boondocks. The Boondocks is a great show to me. It may be inappropriate at some times but it is very funny. I like shows based of how funny they are not how serious they are.
my favorite TV show is The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. It was one of the best TV shows on Disney channel when i was a kid. it was just two brothers in a hotel just joking around, having fun. the show ended in 2008 but there was a spinoff series called Suite Life on Deck. in my opinion i think the original is better than the spinoff.

Another thing that makes it good is the realistic situations that occur on the show. Overall it is a really relatable show and that is why I enjoy watching it !

One of those things are the actors. You need to have good actors who get along on and off the camera. Second is probably the most important which is the story. The story has to make sense and just cant be random. Lastly is know your audience. You have to know your audience well and give them what they want.

The show always keeps me on edge wondering what will happen next. In addition to Tyler Perry doing a great job with directing and writing of the show, the actors also play their role well. Actors play a key role in the show being successful and keeping my attention.

Pretty Little Liars also known as PLL has plenty of climaxes in each each episode that literally just draw your attention towards the screen and nothing else. This show has over 7 seasons and through each step of the way I'm still asking the question' "What is going to happen next?" I love the cast and crew and commend them for their time well spent making this television show a success in the making!

ReplyDeleteTeen Wolf on MTV is my favorite television show. Teen Wolf is a bomb TV show because Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Posey are in it, which are two great actors. Although there a lot of good television shows, not every show that airs is "good". If you've ever noticed how a TV show might only have one season, it's because the majority of people thought the TV show was bad and the show made a lower income than they should have. To have a "good" television show, the show must have good actors, a good storyline/plot, good special effects (if needed), and a good script. Having those in a TV show will make the show a lot better, and get better ratings so the show can stay on the air for more seasons.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite television show is Catfish. I have been a fan of this show since day 1. My dad thinks its kinda stupid but I tend to love it. The fact of the reality in this show is what drawls me in. Now a days all we people do is use technology so this tv show has a lot to do with how we are today. Not every episode is the same either. There is always new twist and turns around every corner. You never really know what to expect and even when you think you know what is about to happen, you really don't. You never know who is on the other side of the phone or the door until the last few minutes. All i can really say is to expect the unexpected.
ReplyDeleteI think what makes so called "good television" is the thirst to want more. If you watch one episode of something and your bored your most likely not gonna watch another. There has to be some kind of thrill to want you to keep watching. There also has to be new fresh ideas. You cant have the first couple episodes be really good and then the rest bad. You cant drawl people in just to disappoint them. To have something be good television is has to appeal to alot of audiences. Overall you just need something that doesn't bore people or only catches the eye of a certain group. You need something that keeps people on the edge of there sets wanting more.
My current favorite television show is The Last Kingdom. Mainly to me on what makes it a good show is the anticipation that it provides and the idea of making a show after something historic that sticks with people in memory. I think what makes good television is the action or drama or whatever genre the consumer may be be seeing as of what they like as a tv show. Its something that people enjoy and what to see over and over again to just feel that emotion that the show has caused but once it goes away than you try to find another good show which to satisfy the feeling you had but dont know if it will increase or decrease depending on the show. Fresh starts are always the best but if you have that feeling like watching a show on Netflix and it stops in the middle of the season and you having that feeling that makes you a little sad which makes you know, its a good show.

ReplyDeleteThe most important elements of a good show is a great cast and a good story line. Not just cast that are professional, but that have chemistry together and work well together. That's why the old 90's shows like Martin, Fresh Prince, The Cosby and A Different World were so popular and are now classics. The casts genuinely worked well together and had great chemistry. Not too many shows have casts like that anymore. Those shows were left in the early 2000's, but some are coming back. Story lines are important so it'll wrap the watchers in to what's going on. Without a good story line what's the purpose of watching? Shows like Empire, Power, and How To Get Away With Murder have very intriguing story lines that always has the watchers wandering what's going to happen on next week's show.

ReplyDeleteI watch cartoon most of the time so my favorite show would most likely be "Gravity Fall". The show creates myriad tension and mood which got me tense up too. The show slightly give you humor but more mysteries and life quotes which cause me to like it. The show also have great arts, great background arts, the value of their color really made me like it. A kid show that teach you about life does question me a lot.

There he works with his friends Braxten, and Francesca. The go on all sorts of adventures and is an all around comedy show. The show also teaches lessons such as, don't do drives, alcohol abuse, running away from your problems, and etc. What makes good television is a good quality plot, life lessons, and a little bit of comedy and action.

ReplyDeleteMy most favored TV show is Orange is the New Black which technically isn't a TV show due to the fact it is aired only on Netflix. But due to to fact that it isn't on TV the director or creator is allowed to say and do whatever they want with no filter at all. This shows mimics the everyday life of a women's prison. The 3 seasons aired so far have consisted of multiple characters with different criminal backgrounds. Plots in the show consists drug trade, murders, and simply how the characters ended up in jail.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite tv show is "The Challenge" an original mtv series. The show features people from other mtv shows to compete for a cash prize. Every week they have to complete an obstacle course that has combines both physical/mental aspects. The winner of the obstacle course for the week has the power to put someone in danger of going home. I like this tv show because of the suspense and the plot twists. In the house where everybody resides in during the show, something is always going on. Alliances are either forming or being broken, and people are either fighting, making friends,dealing with each other romantically, or partying/doing fun things.
ReplyDeleteAs I don’t watch any TV shows, I’m going to write about my favorite TV series. Its name is Vis a Vis. It is a Spanish drama television series produced by Antena 3. This TV series is about a girl called Macarena, who falls in love with her boss and commits several misappropriation crimes so consequently she is sent to Cruz del Sur Prison as a precautionary measure. In there she has to find the way to survive her seven year sentence by changing and transforming all her innocent personality. While she is in the jail, her family has to challenge a lot of struggles because they get involve in the search of a large sum of money.

ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose a favorite TV show, it would have to be the House of Payne on CBS by Tyler Perry. It shows a different black family that we normally don't see in the community, a single dad and two kids. It shows us how CJ raises his two children, Jasmine and Malik. They live in CJ's aunt & uncle's house because their own home was burned down by Jeanine, CJ's ex-wife. Jeanine is not your typical black mother, she struggles with drug addiction and hides it from the family after the house is burned down until Aunt Ella confronts her and informs her nephew, CJ. This situation isn't very practical but it does help bring awareness to single fathers, and that all fathers in the black communities aren't all "deadbeats."
ReplyDeleteMy favorite television show is Sanjay and Craig.Its about a boy and his pet snake that can talk.They go to the arcade and eat wings.Craig which is the snake dresses as a human wearing a shirt and hat to hide the fact that he is a taking snake.They have a fart jar which is their most prided possession. They are always kinda weird and nasty things.Them and there crazy friends are always doing something that is not normal.To be honest its a really cool and funny show.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite show is the "First 48". The show is about homicide detectives all around the world solving mystery cases. On the show, there really is no cast, except the homicide team, and the police. The show started in June of 2004, and has yet to keep going. Its called "The First 48" because the homicide team and detectives are trying to beat the clock before it runs out. Sometimes they do, maybe they don't but they always crack the case. This has been my favorite show since 2012, because it's very interesting it keeps you intrigued, and not wanting to turn the channel. If you have never seen the show I recommend you watch it, it's and very interesting.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite tv show is the haves and have nots. it's very interesting to me. it's directed by tyler perry so of course it's good. it's about the cryer family and the young family. they face different trials such as jail, losing homes, success, wealth and etc.

They have the most hilarious mix of mystery, emotional, action, and most of all humor. Good television connects and appeals to you. To make you come back for more next episode.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite television show is The Fosters. This show is about a family who takes in fosters. They fall in love with a siter and brother that they foster and decide to adopt them. however, there are countless complications that cause physical harm, deaths, sadness, and much more. To me, a good show is anything that makes sense and has a good meaningful story line It also takes a good director and actors to make the show seem and feel realistic.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite TV show currently probably has to be Jane the Virgin. Its not very inappropriate but basically she's artificially inseminated so enough said. What makes it a really good show is the fact that her life turns upside down and there's so many plot twists that leave you very confused. So thats what makes it a good tv show.

ReplyDeleteJane the Virgin is the best show on T.V. right now. It has an awesome plot about how a woman, who is in fact a virgin, gets artificially inseminated. The series follows she and her family as they go through a drama filled life balancing motherhood, family, her writing career, and love life. What makes a good T. V. show is a good plot. something that never has a dull moment.

In my opinion good television is a show that is either funny or it has a lot of twists and mystery's in it. in my opinion that type of stuff is interesting to me.That is what makes a good TV show.

ReplyDeleteWhats makes good television, is authenticity , uniqueness , one of kind type of characteristic the things we watch should make us feel some type of way but like a good feelings.The show shouldnt remind you of another show it should be unique, and you want to continue to watch it basically.
My favorite television show is Revenge by Mike Kelley.This show is about an emotionally troubled young woman makes it her mission to exact revenge against people who wronged her father. She will go to any length to exonerate her father. This is a great show because it leaves you wondering what the next move will be and who will survive, basically it will have you guessing to the very end. Every episode of every season will leave you jaw dropped and wanting more. Unfortunately this show ended at season 4 in 2011 and it was a great ending. I would highly recommend this show to others and I'd watch it again.

It has many great and interesting plot point and events, i can binge watch it all day. it also kinda feels like im watching a history movie every episode and my favorite subject is social studies. These elements really appeal to me as a viewer.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite show has got to be Wakfu. It's got a uniqueness to it in the fact that its animation flows and none of the scenes are reused. Above all, it's in french. A good show captures its target audience, runs for a couple seasons, leaves no cliffhangers in the end, has a little something for everyone, and is different from anything you usually see.

It was one of the best TV shows on Disney channel when i was a kid. it was just two brothers in a hotel just joking around, having fun. the show ended in 2008 but there was a spinoff series called Suite Life on Deck. in my opinion i think the original is better than the spinoff.
