    1. I think the Apple listening is true

  2. Tech users have long questioned whether mobile devices and smart speakers eavesdrop on their private conversations. Apple answered that question Tuesday with a responding no.

  3. I think they are lying. Because they give you add that you'll like sometimes its not in your phone. Siri is listening to your voice because if someone says hello Siri it only answer to your voice no one else's.

  4. I do believe that apple listens is what makes their money including iTunes. Apple answered this question as no. So they don’t Listen to our privacy and I believe that

  5. I do think our phones are always collecting data on us. Companies would obviously be obliged to deny the claims and they'd have no reason to admit they're doing it. However it doesn't seem they would do anything beside making targeted ads at you. The companies wouldn't release the information to the gov't unless of course you were a bank robber or a murderer.

  6. Yes I think that Apple is telling the truth. They said they did not need vast amounts of identifiable information to enrich targeted profiles marketed to advertisers.

  7. I feel that they do listen to people. I feel they do because the phone turns on when you say things like "hey siri". So there might be a change that the phone is listing to you and your conversations.

  8. I believe that it's true. Apple has become more advanced for every type that is released.

  9. I do believe that Apple phones, and phones in general, are eavesdropping on their users. The company may be saying they aren't listening to their consumers, but the phone itself may turn on without the voice command "Hey, Siri". There have been numerous times people have made posts and videos about their phones mysteriously going off and saying weird things to them because it hears certain words in their conversation. My phone has done this before and I have an android. I turned my friend's phone on accidentally by saying, "Shut up," and Siri spoke back to me. The company may not be intentionally listening, so the phones themselves are to blame.

  10. I think this is true because technology is smart. It'll eavesdrop on you the least you expect it. Sometimes your iPhone will listen in on your conversation without your permission. The company is reassuring their costumers not to worry, for it will only require your permission in order to listen to you. But unfortunately, customers should be afraid and take precautionary measures.

  11. I think that the company do eavesdrop on us, though they state that they dont, they would send ads that could get really bothersome at times. Our devices have a camera and a microphone not just to take pictures or speak through a call, but to collect data.

  12. I do believe this is true in spite of what the company is saying . Apple has never lied before so I think we should all believe in what their saying. The Company is that they truly think privacy is a human right which it is. The Company is respecting that as a whole and as people themselves. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't anyone snooping on their phones if it was the other way around.Apple is good for it and they will continue to respect people's privacy in the same way as before.

  13. I believe that the company is right in some aspects of way that iPhone's do not have the ability to listen to you outside of the screen other then with Siri. However, some people have tested it and made it possible that they could. Other then voice, the search engine made its way to spot people's references and let sellers in.

  14. yes I believe its true because our phones are always collecting data on us. As of apple they answered us as no.

  15. They are not telling the truth apple is collecting data from us even other companies like Samsung. They are listening to our conversations even when we are not saying hay Siri or hey google they also tract us too and I think trump is collecting our data too.

  17. I think this is true because of what the people in the company saying. Apple has always been honest in the past with there technology. the company has always been great with mostly all there devices.

  18. I think that apple does probably listen or keep track of apple products that are being sold. However listening to every single word is probably impossible to do because if trying to listen to every apple phone takes extreme technology that no company ever discover. Which i think they track like data or messages.

  19. I think this is true because technology now these days are high level and smart. you dont expect it to eavesdrop on you but it does when you least aspect it likewhen your talking it can listen to your conversation thats how siri be coming out of no where saying stuff.

  20. Yes,I Believe the company is right about the iphones ,The reason is that using siri in can lead on its on with out you even talking .Also there are many times the iPhone will turn off by it self even with its on .With the new update the phones will automatically will mess up your phone . So it might be a change that apple may can hear your conversations .

  21. I believe that Apple is lying. They wouldn't tell us because if they told us, they would lose customers in a instant.

  22. I think that they do eavesdrop so that they can listen to they music that we like in private conversations.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't really know what to believe at this point. I say this because the company is saying one thing and the tech users are saying another. Apple says that iPhone sends a visual alert when Siri is listening to someone's request. Facebook has also been accused of listening to other users conversations from a camera or microphone without permission. Apple says "no" to that question.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i believe that they spy on you and can track you through apple music.

    ReplyDelete
  25. No, I don't think it is true. I don't think that apple listen onto private conversations. One reason is because if someone ever found out they could get into serious trouble. Another is what is the point of eavesdropping if it not going to help them become a better company.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Apple cares about human rights and they believe that it's wrong. Especially the fact that, if someone were to find out and have proof that they were listening they would get sued for a bunch. And, it would end up showing them to be untrustworthy and no one takes interest in un-trusting companies. So, I believe that they aren't listening to us.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think this is true because technology these days are very high level. You don't expect it to eavesdrop on you but it does you just don't know it. When your'e talking on the phone it can listen to your conversation that's how siri comes out of no where saying stuff.

  28. I believe that apple does not listen in on conversations. I believe it listens out for specific tons of voice for when you say "hey siri".Other than that I don't believe apple listens because sometimes when I say "hey siri" it doesn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I believe apple listens to us because when we talk to Siri she already knows us they record our phone conversations and can access voice recordings

    ReplyDelete
  30. This is a confusing situation because a lot of companies would say they same thing. Also people are starting to be way smarter and do a lot of things that you wouldn't know they were doing.

  31. I think that apple is telling the truth they are not listening I believe that our apps are listening, for example, people do experiments where they say something like "i need perfume" and then they go on facebook or instagram and an ad for perfume pops up. I think once you allow apps to use your microphone they can hear everything.

  32. No, I don't think Apple eavesdrops on our private conversations. They gather our information based on a number of algorithms, other sites we visit, us allowing them to know our location, and other ways that can easily be declined or switched off in settings.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think that apple doesn't listen to your private conversation with friends, or family members, but I do think that they do go and look at the data that you have on your phone. They said that they don't because they mean that they don't listen to your private conversations, but that doesn't mean they don't look at things like your data and history on your iPhone. Though, them looking at your data can help them transfer that data to a different phone for you, even though it is an evasion of privacy.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I believe apple doesn’t listen to our conversations they might for data like they said to see how the audio is. Maybe see how it is in different countries and conversation about apple products themselves possibly but just conversation that don’t affect them no they don’t. I believe the government is the one who listens onto conversations to hear everything that happens any call that comes in or out of the US and calls that stay in the US.

  35. I think it's true that Apple listens to personal conversations. Apple probably insists that Siri or Goggle is off until you say otherwise, so that they can stay in business. In my opinion, there is no true evidence to justify the claim.

  36. I do believe apple eavesdrop on us tech users. Of course the company is going to deny it why would they admit to it. From expierence i would be talking about something random with out searching it up and then i would open instagram and whatever I talked about would be on my timeline.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't know what to believe. But I want to believe that it isn't true. Even though Apple said they do not eavesdrop on private conversations, other reports have also said it is not true. But , I would rather be safe and say it is true that technology eavesdrops just in case there is any bias in these reports.

  38. I do believe that it is true that apple is listening to us. Apple has permission to access your camera and microphone. With the help of siri they can listen and understand our conversation. The " hey siri" feature is a sign of it always listening to your conversations.

    ReplyDelete
  39. No I don't, while internet privacy is prized in today's society it is highly unlikely that companies actually give to them. Whether it's for government and private use, personal information will never be completely safe, because in case of emergency or drop in ratings, Apple knows that it must have a fail-safe.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think that they are listening to some people conversations. Even if they was listening they wouldn't tell us cause then nobody would want an iPhone or apple product.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I believe that apple and google always listen to us no matter what. They may say that this is not true but there devices use the microphone to use "Hey, Siri" or "Ok, google" so they have to listen to know when a person says those phrases. The reason they say no is because if they tell us the truth everyone would get mad at then and they could lose their business.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I do think our phones are always collecting data on us by eavesdropping. Companies would of course have the right to say that its not true because users often give that permission when they sign up for stuff on their technology. However it doesn't give them the right to eavesdrop. Although it can help if someone was playing a murder or a robbery at the Royal Mint.

  43. In my opinion, I believe apple is telling the truth, privacy is everything to consumers and apple doesn't need any information whatsoever from any user and in addition their products doesn't have the ability to listen to users except to recognize the clear, unambiguous audio trigger 'Hey Siri'

    ReplyDelete
  44. Apple is lying about not listening on what you do.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I feel like it's more in between yes and no. Apple listens but they choose not to. Like I feel like that they can hear us when we complain about certain features but they choose to do the opposite.

    ReplyDelete
  46. No I do not believe that apple is listening to our private conversation, but they might go and look at the data. I feel like its too many people with apple products for them to be listening to everyones conversations

    ReplyDelete
  47. I think its a mix between yes and no, like they don't listen except to recognize the clear, unambiguous audio trigger 'Hey Siri', but i think they can listen and tap into your phone if they want to, Like if there was an important situation.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think it is true because they make good money off of itunes

    ReplyDelete
  49. I believe apple doesn't listen to our private conversations, but they do go back and look at our data. The only time they listen to us is when we say Hey Siri, but other than that they do not listen to our conversation.

    ReplyDelete
  50. To be honest, I feel like they are spying on us from our phones because they can access our voice calls and they can access phone convos through Siri and other advanced tech

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think that Apple is telling the truth. They said they did not need vast amounts of identifiable information to enrich targeted profiles marketed to advertisers

    ReplyDelete
  52. i think apple listens to our conversations for our safety but i disagree because it is still a violation of our privacy

    ReplyDelete
  53. No I don't believe it because there really no real privacy

    ReplyDelete
  54. Apple doesn't have the rights to eavesdrop, but research has showed in the past that they do. But, we do allow them to do so because we accept there there terms and usage. There so called "research" is when they spy on us.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I believe apple doesn't listen to our private conversations, but i do believe they do go back and look at our data.

  56. i think apple is listening, honestly i think they work with the government on some of this stuff, apple can track people they can read the imessage i mean everything and i dont trust them. this is ashton

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't think apple listens to our conversations but I think they can look at our location and data. I think they record our conversations but they don't go through it unless they have to. They also have access to our messages.
