  3. Over the last two days, the side door to Dutchtown High school has been locked. Yesterday, i stood at the door knocking for two minutes until a janitor came to the door and told me I had to talk to the front door. Today, they did the same. Now, I am assuming the door will be locked every day. this is ridiculous. What is the purpose of this? This does nothing but make me have to walk a longer distance and dodge more people. Now, I am going to have to the leave home earlier in order to wait in the 20min traffic and now walk all the way to the front door.
In Ohio, on Monday, a woman was arrested for stabbing her husband in the groin with a pen. Apparently, they had an argument because he ate all of her salsa. This highly upset her and after she stabbed him with a pen she went to the kitchen for a knife. Then, she used the knife to cut him in the stomach. She was arrested and charged for domestic assault.

  4. The Dutchtown High School Administration has been cracking down on hall sweeps recently. In addition to kicking students out of commons in the mornings and afternoons, the administration has locked most bathrooms and locked most entrances. This is extremely inconvenient for students. Students plan to combat this injustice in a peaceful protest that will hopefully end the communist dictatorship in Dutchtown.

In other news, Misao Okawa, the world's oldest person according to Guinness World Records, has died at the age of 117. Okawa passed away Wednesday morning in Osaka, Japan. This is extremely unfortunate. Rest in peace Okawa.

Named Tropical Cyclone Pam, the storm carries heavy rainfall and damaging winds as strong as 168 miles per hour. At least 3,300 people seek shelter in 37 evacuation centers. (Mar. 15): An official at the United Nations (UN) Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says that Cyclone Pam will likely be the South Pacific's worst natural disaster. "At least nine nations have experienced some level of devastation including Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Fiji, Tuvalu, and Papua New Guinea. Officials have yet to assess the damage in many of the hard-hit outer islands because communications and power remain cut," the UN official says. (Mar. 17): The death toll from the cyclone is 11, according to the UN, but the number is expected to rise as the rescue effort continues.

He has fought off investigations for years now and they have discussed plans for Menendez to admit to his crimes before it goes to trial. Things like this prove that their is corruption in the government. How do we trust our representatives and senators when things like this are unraveled?

The troops, she said, were cautious when they entered buildings in case they were wired to explode. Plumes of smoke rose from burning buildings in the background.

  14. Chris Brown, 25, is determined to be “the best dad on the planet” to his 10-month-old daughter Royalty, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Chris and his baby mama Nia Guzman-Amey, 31, are having serious talks about how to discipline their daughter when she acts out, and they are very against spanking — especially Chris. Here’s why!

Nia Amey & Chris Brown Raising Royalty: Why They Will Never Spank Her
“[Chris] and Nia agree on one simple disciplinary rule: absolutely no spanking. They both don’t believe in that form of discipline and will use their words, time-outs or loss of privileges to correct her behavior,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

It’s obvious that Chris and Nia have made it a point of discussion on how to discipline Royalty, and it’s great that they’re communicating on such an important subject. As HollywoodLife.com previously told you, Chris doesn’t want Royalty to grow up “spoiled” or “entitled”, and it’s good they both believe spanking is not the answer on how to discipline her.

he United Nations' international climate negotiations in Paris in December are the place to secure strong global agreement to curb heat-trapping emissions. A successful climate pact will send a signal around the world that a shift to a low-carbon economy is underway.

The United States has made clear that it is ready to step up to the plate on climate change. The U.S. administration on Tuesday unveiled details about its proposal to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 26% to 28% below 2005 levels by 2025. This common-sense and achievable plan to decarbonize the U.S. economy will result in significant cost savings from cleaner technologies and create more American energy jobs to power our homes and businesses.

On Thursday, a detonation and nattering gunfire cut through the morning quiet, tearing many students in dormitories out of their sleep. Al-Shabaab gunmen had first stormed a Christian prayer service, where they killed some and took others hostage. Then they went across campus with them, shooting non-Muslims and sparing Muslims. Students ran, some crawled, away from the gunfire. At one point, the gunmen pinned down a building where 360 students lived.

President Barack Obama on Thursday effectively placed his presidential legacy in the hands of Iranian revolutionary clerics who've waged a proxy war against the U.S. for three decades. With a framework deal to halt Tehran's nuclear program, Obama moved closer to the kind of staggering diplomatic breakthrough with the Islamic Republic that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. He also took personal ownership of a fraught negotiating process full of false starts and deep divisions, one that hinges on the sides' ability to hammer out a host of devilish details by a June 30 final deadline in the face of vocal opposition from domestic and international critics.
